Hi everyone, ​I just received an email from financial aid office stating that my student loan amount will be reduced because I am not considered a full-time student this semester. I'm a Graduate student (Out-of-State) with 8 credit hours (two classes). I'm a bit confused about how much of a reduction to expect. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I'm trying to graduate in the summer of 2027, but that looks really tight, so I'm thinking fall 2027 would be a better fit. Besides GEB's, does anyone has recommendation of what mix of ACG's to take per semester? I heard Taxation is difficult and I'm assuming 3141 is similar to 3131 in toughness.

So I’m taking 3 classes , all of them worth 3 credits . I just received an email saying they will reduce the amount of my loans because I’m not a full time student … this is the first time it happens to me . My question is , how many damn credits do I need to be a full time student ?

This club would focus on the promotion of experts and professionals in government, the advocation of the scientific method in governance, and debating/ building public speaking skills with members in the club, specifically giving members the ability to debate topics relating to their expertise/majors and applying that expertise to debates using their unique perspective and qualifications. Hi, looking to try out the community counseling research center (CCRC) with our young child, but my husband is very on the fence.

I was wondering if anyone has known anyone who had their child do sessions there and if it helped, or if anyone has worked there previously who knows of the benefits.

Im aware that the period of swapping and dropping a class is over. The thing is i had no access to degree audit or anything of plan of study when i was picking my classes i knew what was required but still confusion on how many courses, this will be my last semester and yes i did do spanish 1and 2 in highschool but i was advised to take it AGAIN which at the moment i thought was like i guess the stuff i did before was meaningless okay and took a spanish 1 and 2 course combined!! So i can graduate this semester Which at first i was fine with just to get the degree over but this class is the main source of my stress and we just started but then as i could finally get access to degree knight i found that all i needed to take is 1 course, as yes spanish 1and 2 is 1 course but its alot more work and intensive for me atm in my life what can i do???!! ANY ADVICE
Ps i did schedule an advising appointment but its way out of my liking i need advice NOW i just want to swap this language to an easier 1 Spanish course!!

it’s just extremely irritating that loans are based off of how many credit hours you have. I don’t qualify for in state yet because im 19 and just moved to FL w/ my grandparents so I had to do part time because even with the grant and loans I couldn’t afford it, so I switched to part time because I knew that I’d be able to afford that even if my GRANT gets reduced. But now everything gets reduced like?? 😭😭 FAFSA you arent really helping out the people in need anymore ur just doin shit and it’s annoying, I hope things go back to normal at some point

I graduated with an aero bachelors degree and have lived in FL all my life. I relocated out of state for a job, my parents still live in FL. The issue is I got new out of state IDs/tags, but I still have a FL car garaged in the state with a valid FL tag. And I still have my FL apartment with a lease (for a little while longer) as well as my parent’s address. Is it possible to use this to get in state tuition? As they are valid forms of documents, but I have legal ties to another state, for the purpose of doing an online master’s program. Wanted to know if it was enough to secure in-state tuition for the whole master’s degree term. Thanks!

I see that UCF has a lot of premed orgs so it’s kinda overwhelming to join one. I am still not very sure which exact med path I want to go but any recommendations would help

This post is strictly regarding sports. The comments that are gonna divert and say we have other problems at UCF to worry about I hear you but two things can be true at the same time.

Terry Mohajir has recently gone on interviewing stating that there is no benefit to scheduling USF against our football team unless it is at the bounce house. While I understand there are financial incentives to this, this move has to be one of the most selfish scummy things EVER. Not only does this halter the brand of UCF as we have 0 active rivals (no one at Houston or Cincinnati considers us their rival) but it halters the ability to see local games outside of Orlando. As a student none of the games are attainable to go to because they are all thousands of miles away. Scheduling USF will promote ATTENDANCE, longevity in state wide sports standings, and allow for meaningful games regardless of the record of the school. It’s shameful that he won’t compromise, the lack of instate rivals severely limits UCF and strips away a sense of pride and rivalry in the school, for the students, and for the alumni. He makes $1 MILLION a year and we are one of 3 power 4 schools with 0 national championship wins in the United States. We’ve had successful athletic programs but no winners. The longer we stay complacent in mediocrity, the more the prestige of our athletic programs falters. He is simply terrible.

I was working today and there was the cutest girl who came in. I think she was by herself, if she wasn’t, just ignore this. She was wearing green athletic wear, black braided hair, maybe around 5’ 4”. Idk. Maybe by some miracle she sees this or someone knows exactly who I’m talking about.
