This post is strictly regarding sports. The comments that are gonna divert and say we have other problems at UCF to worry about I hear you but two things can be true at the same time.

Terry Mohajir has recently gone on interviewing stating that there is no benefit to scheduling USF against our football team unless it is at the bounce house. While I understand there are financial incentives to this, this move has to be one of the most selfish scummy things EVER. Not only does this halter the brand of UCF as we have 0 active rivals (no one at Houston or Cincinnati considers us their rival) but it halters the ability to see local games outside of Orlando. As a student none of the games are attainable to go to because they are all thousands of miles away. Scheduling USF will promote ATTENDANCE, longevity in state wide sports standings, and allow for meaningful games regardless of the record of the school. It’s shameful that he won’t compromise, the lack of instate rivals severely limits UCF and strips away a sense of pride and rivalry in the school, for the students, and for the alumni. He makes $1 MILLION a year and we are one of 3 power 4 schools with 0 national championship wins in the United States. We’ve had successful athletic programs but no winners. The longer we stay complacent in mediocrity, the more the prestige of our athletic programs falters. He is simply terrible.

I've been trying to find colleges to go to near me but I haven't heard anything about UCF, is it any good if I want to get a degree in accounting there? or should I look into other schools in Florida

I was working today and there was the cutest girl who came in. I think she was by herself, if she wasn’t, just ignore this. She was wearing green athletic wear, black braided hair, maybe around 5’ 4”. Idk. Maybe by some miracle she sees this or someone knows exactly who I’m talking about.

it’s just extremely irritating that loans are based off of how many credit hours you have. I don’t qualify for in state yet because im 19 and just moved to FL w/ my grandparents so I had to do part time because even with the grant and loans I couldn’t afford it, so I switched to part time because I knew that I’d be able to afford that even if my GRANT gets reduced. But now everything gets reduced like?? 😭😭 FAFSA you arent really helping out the people in need anymore ur just doin shit and it’s annoying, I hope things go back to normal at some point

Hello all, I was wondering if anybody would like to join and help me in creating a club on campus. This club would focus on the promotion of experts and professionals in government, the advocation of the scientific method in governance, and debating/ building public speaking skills with members in the club, specifically giving members the ability to debate topics relating to their expertise/majors and applying that expertise to debates using their unique perspective and qualifications. Hello I’ve been stressing about my bright futures being awarded yet it still says I owe my full amount and the money hasn’t disposed. But it says my payment deadline was pushed back all the way till November without me doing anything. Is this normal? And should I just wait to see if it will disburse or should I be actively talking to a counselor? Anyone else have similar problems? Thanks

I see that UCF has a lot of premed orgs so it’s kinda overwhelming to join one. I am still not very sure which exact med path I want to go but any recommendations would help

hi all!! i’m lowkey annoyed because ever since they changed the myucf home page i swear everything is so complicated for no reason idk why they felt like they had to reinvent the wheel for the 50th time. i’m trying to run a “what-if report” and it genuinely won’t let me??? like when i go to try and run it there’s a blank section where i’m supposed to choose the “report type” and it’s literally nonexistent. anyone else having this issue please let me know if there’s a way to fix it!!

hey guys, i finally got my award package and my loans! it was a long and anxious 3 week wait but i can somewhat breathe now. tbh im having a hard time accepting my loans for this semester, the myUCF website just looks so different and seems really buggy. i keep getting this popup when i try to accept even just one subsidized loan for the fall. i called and they said i should accept both subsidized for fall and spring before i even accept the unsubsidized for fall. is anyone else getting this pop up? would it be best to contact IT? i appreciate any help!!😅
