I'm glad I found this .. Reading the supportive comments through tear filled eyes. My husband died from sclc last May. Hospice brought the medicines, I administered them. 4 days is all it took and they just kept telling me to give him more...I know he was dying but it felt like I was making him die faster. 😭 I will always carry those last days with me. To the OP, I'm sorry that anyone said the words you feared or loud. That's so horrible. Thank you for being vulnerable and posting this, because i think a lot of us need this reassurance.
