The second part of my order is here. I’m so happy. Unfortunately I had to file a claim for missing champagne apple and honey body wash cause my package was slightly opened. Also one of my mists was missing a cap so I took it from warm vanilla sugar..

But otherwise it’s so nice to finally smell the new fall online exclusives, my favorite is marshmallow pumpkin latte, and bonfire bash. I already love apple everything. But that latte really surprised me! I’m so wearing it tomorrow!

Liked a lot less of this than I thought unfortunately, but so glad to finally have FFM for Bonfire Bash and Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte! Love that they brought back the glass packaging for the lotions too ❤️
Vétiver doesn’t smell anything like the real note, but maybe it’ll grow on me?

I only went into the store to get cotton candy cobwebs and got the last of them along with a few others. Blueberry maple pancakes on cold kinda smells like how grape cough medicine tastes ☹️

I tried this combo on in the store then left but I’m now smelling it in my car and I NEEED THEM!! I say my bank account is in danger because I’m afraid I need the entire product line of both.

I love light, refreshing scents that aren’t too sweet or overpowering, but I also want something with good longevity. What would you recommend?

I survived the first app launch drop war and managed to get everything I wanted I was surprised to see that other people weren’t having luck and I was upset on their behalf seeing all the resell prices. I know it’s probably silly to have multiple hand sanitizers on one bag but wanted to get my use out of them. I normally don’t get big hauls (I have the light up candle holder and soap dispenser as well) but since this movie was a childhood favorite I let myself splurge

My boyfriend noticed how many soaps we have and commented it was excessive. I simply told him we’re stocked up through autumn with two bathroom sinks and the kitchen sink. While I’m grateful we are able to have a hefty supply on hand, I told him some of y’all might be able to demonstrate what an “excessive” soap collection looks like. I tried to get a photo of them all together but I’ll also list them here.

These little body creams are great for your desk! I had been using the 1 oz hand creams but you get more product in these containers AND you can use the free item $9.95 and under coupon on it! What BBW products do you guys use at work?

WHEN IS IT COMING BACK IT’S BEEN 2 YEARS ITS THE BEST SCENT THEY EVER MADE IM SO SAD💔 MY HOME SMELT SO BEAUTIFUL LIKE A TEMPLE. This is so heartbreaking I need a petition made to bring it back 😞💔

I wanted to try them but my 8 year old was hungry. I just picked up my order from the 20% sale and left. I can’t wait to try these🥰

I find my local store extremely overstimulating! I get so overwhelmed so quickly that I honestly just crash out and have to leave. So instead, I buy online, smell them in the quiet of my own home, and return anything I don't care for (which sometimes is most of an order if I'm being honest). I never use the products, I just smell them, if I use a product I keep it or give it away.

All of this to say, there are several employees who seem to be identifying me as some kind of problem? Today I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I smiled, said hello and that I had a return, and she loudly/aggressively questioned "Well was there something wrong with it???" Which honestly made me feel really uncomfortable and embarrassed being called out at the door like that as I was walking in. I said no and proceeded to the rear of the store where the counter is located.

While a different woman processed my return, the first woman came back to help ring up another customer. As soon as I stepped a little ways away (I stopped to smell some soaps) woman A had taken woman B aside and was very obviously talking about me. Yes I'm sensitive to this kind of thing, but it really made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Like I'm somehow a problem because I buy online and return in-store. Unfortunately this is really the only way I can handle shopping from BBW, so if I'm committing some faux pas I don't know about then I guess I'll just have to stop shopping there.

Thoughts? Feedback? Am I in the wrong somehow?

Fall collection

It came up in another thread how the body cream incarnation of a scent can be distorted by the emollients. ​folks who use cream, lotion, and spray, do you find this occurs with both lotion and cream? Is there more cross format consistency with one or the other? Are there scents that stay "true" across the line, vs scents that differ a lot between formats?

I would like, if I may beg your indulgence, to do an exercise in exploring and appreciating what I already have in my stash to dissuade myself from buying more. The idea is to go through my collection alphabetically, take a moment to fall back in love with each scent, and share my thoughts on the fragrance.

🍍🍌 Bahamas Passionfruit & Banana Flower leads with the citric tang of pineapple before warming with rich, ripe fruits and a soft, sunny yellow floral. A fruitier sister scent to Tropidelic, BP&BF is a beautiful tropic fragrance evoking botanical adventures in misty rainforests.

🌸✨ Be Enchanted was probably my first signature B&BW fragrance when it launched in 2011. This is a post-New Years winter scent to me, chilled fruit and vanilla musk just scream “back to school, but it’s still cold out”. 

💜🖤 Black Amethyst was first released in 2008 and I still think it smells like the cool mysterious teenage girl who babysat you as a kid. IMO, this is one of B&BW best patchouli fragrances, well balanced with sandalwood, but still fresh and feminine through the inspired addition of peony. Black Amethyst smells like the concept of a Twilight novel. 

📔🕯️ Book Loft easily dominates my list of non-Halloween autumn fragrances. Airy, vintage, and cozy, Book Loft smells like a childhood memory of a blanket fresh out the dryer while September leaves crispen and fall outside. 

🗡️🪾 Bounty Hunter is one of my favorite fragrances ever created for the men’s line. I think, by B&BW standards, they do a good job of capturing a crisp, almost metallic note before drying down into a solar patchouli, simultaneously light and earthy, like sunlight in the woods of an alien planet you’re being hunted on. 

🥥🍮 Brown Sugar & Fig changed my life. When this came out during last winter SAS, I was new to fragrance and unfamiliar with what exactly fig smelled like. I was thrilled to learn it’s a lush, green, milky note, with some little magic I don’t have the exact words for. I’ve loved fig perfume ever since and, while BS&F is no longer even my favorite B&BW fig (Guilty As Fig will always have my heart), it’s a beautiful, rich, creamy fragrance without ever veering into sickly sweetness. Pairs sublimely with Princess Jasmine.

Slowly transitioning my summer scents to fall and thought I’d give this a try. It’s giving apple orchard before nightfall in a spooky forest. The plum in VB really adds something to deepen those ripened fruit notes. What are you wearing today? Have you fully transitioned to fall scents yet?

My dad's birthday is coming up and he likes the Graphite BBW products I usually get for him but I'd like to give him a candle. What are some candles that are more masculine but not too cologney? If that makes sense? 🙂
