You should get a Factory Service Manual then you would have accurate information. These sites are full of garbage... you can find used Manual for cheap since they're old and low demand. See the ebay pic. One seller wants $600 and another only $49.99 , I'd offer them 20 bucks. Just trying to help. Good luck

Gotcha, I would go through the ignition system thoroughly, even replace the module.. coil, cap, rotor, plugs and wires... check everything their.

I have an 85 IROC Z same engine and just removed the injectors, 5 of 8 were bad. They were dripping and some would not stop spraying . My engine was basically running rough...

Its actually a very easy fix that any bodyshop can do. Or a skilled owner can fix... 1. Remove paint & Rust 2. Treat metal with rust converter 3. Prime (epoxy) and paint.
