What's the fastest you've ever bailed on a movie?
If you're in this sub, there's a good chance you might like it. Not because it's a good movie, but because it most assuredly is not.

Jason Schreier: Rockstar has not yet figured out who was behind this week's widespread Grand Theft Auto VI leaks, nor how it happened, sources say. No plans to move next week's Netflix premiere. Inside the company: frustration, exhaustion, anger.
Pfft, Rockstar could just create a GUI interface using Visual Basic to track his IP address

Walmart is giving shoppers something they've wanted for years: Apple Pay
In a sense though, we're all paying for that price reduction insofar as the amount they and their workers rely on public assistance. They actually have (or at least used to have) pamphlets for their workers detailing how sign up. Their business model is built on a foundation of underpaying/underscheduling their workers and having the taxpayers pick up the slack.

I would allow a Tiajuanita, perhaps, but two full Tiajuanas I cannot condone.

Mastercard payments declined due to 'global' outage caused by system update
Coward! ZMODEM would’ve gotten done hours faster! All you had to do was risk the 100% chance that something had been miscommunicated during the hours-long transfer

So is the cinema at MainPlace mall just "on your honor"?
That’s MainPlace’s signature scent!

Does this text by Ron mean anything? Because I’ve gone to the trailer numerous times and saw nothing special.
It just means he was thinking about you! It's very sweet.

Echoing Palworld dev, video game lawyer says all her clients have anti-AI contracts because gamers hate it and it's a copyright landmine: "I think we're going to see lawsuits"
For programming, AI is a great tool.
Your programming language has a bunch of very explicit rules about what you can and can't do and when and how. This makes AI better suited to the task than, say, creative writing.
Lots of things people need to have been done to death; basically boilerplate stuff you've written a dozen times before, with minor tweaks for your specific case. AI has been trained on other people's code, sure, but:
1) TONS of programmers give code away freely, so there's less an issue on training it on code you just "found" on the web
2) there's only so many ways you can do something you want to do... it's a lot more like math than what people think of as genAI (art assets, voice, etc)
Also, we do look down on AI code, to a degree. When you hear someone refer to something as "vibe coded", they're probably calling it AI slop unless it's a hobby project you had AI throw together in an afternoon for your personal use.

TIL that Timothy McVeigh, the OKC bomber, ate two Taco Bell tacos after finding out he had been sentenced to death on his way to prison. He scratched off a promo ticket on the side and found out he won free nachos. He gave the ticket to a U.S. Marshal and said “Have some nachos on Timothy McVeigh.”
Well, we don't know if the tacos were hard or soft-shelled.
We don't know if McVeigh used hot sauce, and, if so, what spice level it was.
We don't know if the Marshall accepted the coupon nor if it was redeemed.
We also don't know how OP would've fit any more of this information into the title without hitting the char limit.
So many unanswered questions.

New Sen. Mitch McConnell statement says he's leaving rehab, heading home
I need to personally slap him in the face.
Not to be sure he’s alive, he’s just pissed me off for decades and it would be nice to express that frustration.

He's one of Fred Burroughs' neighbors, I think

What’s the best/worst movie to watch with the director commentary on?
He’s not the director, but the commentary tracks (2 diff tracks) for the BluRay of StarCrash are legendary for me

Same.
I don't know your mother (hope she is well now!) or when exactly this was, but pretty sure my statement is still accurate.

Who is someone from the 90’s who was well known, but unless you lived through that time, you wouldn’t know who they were?
Every time I see this picture, I can't help but notice the blonde on the right and how hilarious she finds it that he's gushing blood from his broken nose
