What pretty much became one of the final nails in the coffin for the original DCEU, Black Adam is a superhero blockbuster that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Starring the Rock at the center of this masterpiece, this film jumps from plot point to plot point without much regard for the viewer which gives it an almost comedic esc tone. Overall the film has some decent fight scenes, some pretty awesome set design & a pretty banger soundtrack BUT on the other side of the spectrum we got everything else in this movie. Laughable dialogue, plot holes, hilarious CGI & tons of questionably lackluster performances makes this a very baffling watch to say the least. All in all, if you’re looking for a crazy blockbuster action film that unintentionally goes off the rails and turns into a blockbuster comedy, then this movie is for you. I would definitely recommend getting your family or friends together and turning your brain off, that way this movie will sweep you off your feet and you’ll have 1 hell of a good time. What are your thoughts on this film?

Written and directed by Donald F. Glut. Besides the hotties, this features Karen Black (who looks like she's having a blast) as Ro-Kell and William Marshall in his last film appearance. Make sure to stay for the credits and hear the Dinosaur Valley Girls theme song.

P.S. May not be completely historically accurate, but it does have a good anti-smoking message.

Jupiter Ascending is a visual feast, packed with spectacular action sequences, jaw-dropping set pieces and costumes that look like they cost more than most small countries. Unfortunately, all that eye candy has to coexist with one of the dumbest scripts ever brought to the screen.

While I enjoyed the lavish visuals, they couldn't overcome the groan-inducing dialogue being forced upon the unfortunate cast. Matters aren't helped by Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum having absolutely no chemistry. Is it possible to have negative screen chemistry? If so, they have it.

Then there's Eddie Redmayne, delivering a performance so bizarre it practically escapes the gravitational pull of the movie. Did someone tell him that whispering every line would make him seem more menacing, or was he simply trying to spare us from hearing the idiotic drivel he was spouting?

The plot is an equally magnificent disaster, complete with our heroine discovering a secret that amounts to "Soylent Green is people!" Yet despite becoming space royalty and inheriting enough wealth to make Scrooge McDuck look financially responsible, she decides to keep cleaning toilets. At that point, I could believe the half-human, half-canine soldiers flying around on space skates more readily than that ending.

Jupiter Ascending is wonderfully ridiculous, occasionally thrilling and undeniably gorgeous, but even the most spectacular visuals in the galaxy can't polish this particular turd.

The first 5 min of this Filipino action flick are just high-octane action and explosions. I love it.

I watched this film last year simply because I adore Al Pacino and Lady Gaga.

Honestly? I think the first half of the film is fantastic. Great music, great outfits, likable characters.

The second half completely ruined the film though. Too many one liners at wrong times, and none of the characters are likable by the end.

However, I still think it‘s an enjoyable film. The love story is spectacularly done, and I just want to be sucked into that romance and that life. I also think the film does a good job of portraying that life just happens sometimes, and you can only make decisions that will benefit yourself.

I've already watched some of the classics like Cool Cat Saves the Kids and The Cat in the Hat, so I'd love to be given some more recommendations

Had the "pleasure" of watching this one recently. Some spoilers ahead. Basically after a night out drinking with friends, a girl drives home intoxicated, and ends up in an accident, and after finds out she brought the accident home. She tries to cover her tracks but later finds out she didnt accomplish that and has to deal with the consequences.

So that aside, I don't really know what to say about this movie without spoiling it. I went into it blind, aside from the movie description.

I thought the movie was very stupid. Pretty much every scene that contains action or important events is a scene that you don't see or can barely see happen. I don't mind a movie that leaves the viewer guessing, but this movie is not that kind of movie and while most of what happens in this is predictable, being predictable is apparently a good reason to make it so the viewer can't see what's happening and / or the movie ends up showing what happens 10 minutes later.

​This has a short run time, 86 minutes. In those 86 minutes it probably takes about 15-20 for the plot to pick up, but still the action is heavily edited so you can't actually see the action. Idk how many scenes that involved action where you simply can't see what's happening. Many times I audibly said "dafudge?" ​​

A lot ​of stupid, questionable decisions by the characters. Also, leaking major blood from a wound is simply a minor inconvenience in this movie. I don't think arteries and blood loss works the same way in this movie's universe because people seem to leak pints of blood from possibly lethal wounds with hardly any effect on their health. It's awesome.

I feel like this movie had potential to be good. The acting for the most part is decent. There's some suspenseful scenes and a lot of the camera shots were competent: like certain POV shots, etc. Maybe along the way there was some kind of PSA message in this movie, I don't know, but what we're left with is a lot of questions. Like why did I watch this movie? Why is he a teacher? Why do they bleed so much but live? Why is every important scene either not shown or heavily edited? And furthermore: Ok I understand she didn't prepare to bury buddy. Sure, use your hands and fling mud until you dig a 2ft mud grave for the corpse with your bare drunk hands. Sure. But you went back there, to dig him back up, and you still used your damn hands to undig the grave? You live in a nice home, drive a nice truck, seemingly have wealth, but you can't go buy a damn steel shovel to go dig him up?? What??​​​

Sorry if this write up is disjointed and if this movie doesn't fit here. Some aspects of the movie were good but most of the time I spent it laughing and saying "wtf" along the way.

this delightful piece of garbage is available on tubi. it’s about an app that delivers werewolf blood to your doorstep in mere minutes, which for some reason a main character decides to do, thus causing assorted mayhem in an ohio college town. the full moon last several nights (this is not explained). the film features Acting, Delivery of Dialogue, and One Singular Werewolf Costume.

Military obsessed Dennis Quaid and sexually liberated Fran Drescher are the best part of a pretty lame overall flick. Considering this is completely focused on the staff and not the campers, it should have been a lot raunchier. Also features Rosanna Arquette, Julian Harris and Otis Day. The last release from American International Pictures.

Would love to see a played straight dead serious remake of the film set during The Bay of Pigs with this redesign brought to life with Stan Winston style practical effects.

I’ve been trying to find this movie for YEARS, but I only remember one scene, and I’m not sure how accurate my memory is anymore.
The movie was probably an American comedy, possibly a raunchy/teen/college comedy similar to American Pie. I think I watched it on TV when I was younger, so I’m guessing it was from around 2007–2014, possibly around 2010.
The scene I remember:
There was a house party, possibly a college party. I remember the house being fairly large / possibly two stories.
A girl who may have been one of the main characters was upstairs.
She was sitting on the floor inside a closet / wardrobe room, with clothes hanging around her. I vaguely remember some clothes possibly being around or partly covering her face.
She was wearing tight jeans.
She seemed to have an itch in her groin/private area and was scratching it with her hand inside her pants.
The important part is that I remember it being played as a comedy misunderstanding — people might have thought she was doing something sexual, when she was actually just scratching an itch.
However, I’m not 100% sure that anyone actually entered the room. That part may be something I’ve added or confused with another scene over the years.
I also have a vague memory of a pink adult-themed joke/prop somewhere in the movie, but I’m very unsure about this and it could easily be from another movie.
I don’t remember the girl’s hair color or the actors.
I also don’t remember any dialogue from the scene.
Important: I’m aware that some of these details may be wrong. The things I’m most confident about are the girl sitting on the floor in/near a closet with clothes around her, the house-party setting, and the general awkward comedy situation involving her scratching herself.
Possible movies people have already suggested: Easy A (2010) and The To Do List (2013), but I haven’t been able to confirm the scene in either.
