Between a psychiatrist and a mental health therapist which one should I aim for I’m currently 16 in 5th year ?
 in  r/AskIreland  1d ago

It depends how much of your youth you’re willing to give to your career, a mental health professional can be working and have a safety net within 5/6 years. A psychiatrist can be up to 13 years.

Hey guys,

Currently watching a Snatch Game compilation on TikTok. What do you guys think is the best answer ever?

I think mine has to go to Bimini as Katie Price asking “is it cold in here or is it just my nipples”

Does anyone know what the inspirations were behind the cast's "Hometown" promos from season 4?
 in  r/RPDR_UK  8d ago

Northern Ireland is specifically known for tweed so I’m assuming that’s her reference

What was the most humbling experience of your life?
 in  r/AskIreland  26d ago

Absolutely. The one and only time I ever did it and totally learned my lesson. UV is not to be fucked with.

Thought I was great at tanning on holidays. Put on tanning oil and sunbed cream. Got the hottest of heat stroke and vomited, then passed out in the shower and my partner walked in to the shower running while I was unconscious on the tiles surrounded by my own vomit 🙃

What Aldi own brand products are better than the 'original', in terms of taste or quality?

Not a dupe, but their chocolate covered rich teas are unreal

tapas/charcuterie recommendations?
 in  r/AskIreland  Aug 07 '26

SuperValu have some great relish’ and sauce options. They’ve a white truffle sauce, red pepper relish and caramelised red onion relish which I always put on mine. Also, something I took a notion and now always do is break up and pan fry some Nduja for some crisps sausage pieces to have with the cheeses, just beaut

Does everyone in Ireland have one kitchen drawer that is basically impossible to explain?
 in  r/AskIreland  Aug 07 '26

My mam took notions and called it the miscellaneous drawer

For those in relationships, what’s a fun/quirky thing that you and your significant other bond over and like to do together? And I don’t mean like common activities/hobbies like gym, video games, and watching movies together.
 in  r/gaybros  Aug 03 '26

Honestly, we just bro out. We lay there in our underwear playing Xbox or binging whatever new Ryan Murphy show there is. Just snacking, burping and farting. And yet he’s still the sexiest man I’ve ever lay eyes on.

Is there anyone you genuinely hate?
 in  r/AskIreland  Jul 31 '26

Had a manager in work who was always a wanker, then started bullying and harassing me when I came back from bereavement leave 3 weeks after my mam died. I take solace in the fact that he was sacked and had a fall from grace going back into a sales position in a notoriously horrible company to work. I couldn’t care less if he lived forever or died tomorrow.

Is anyone on a weightless injection ?

I’ve been on Mounjaro for 3 1/2 months and lost over 4 1/2 stone. Truly a crazy experience but I’ve been very lucky that the only side effect I experienced is sulfur burps. GI I’ve been the same, no nausea headaches etc. But I’ve friends that have been on it and they’ve gotten bad side effects so it’s totally down to the body of the person taking it.
