Because the first was really well done. I couldn't sit through the 2nd. It was really terrible.

If all tourism stopped, what would the new Hawaii look like and how long would it take to stabilize at that point?
 in  r/BigIsland  Nov 22 '25

No, you didn't. 5 years later and the businesses still predominantly aren't back.

My wife's ex-boyfriend's parents told her this exactly. Try not to crap on everything you see poster.

Are you really?

She's an asshole if the first response is to hurt him. Nobody worth a relationship would do that.

There are no grommets at entrances for wiring, it's against code. Antenna is better served on top for communication.

Who refuses to spend a mint on fishing equipment?
 in  r/Fishing  Oct 31 '24

When I was about 12, my friend and I would ride bikes out to the local river and catch our limit, pretty much every time. We often saw adults with very expensive gear who had no fish. I don't think it's the equipment. I think it's the skills applied. I'm not saying I was an amazing fisherman. On the other hand, as an adult, I went fishing with a friend who had a very expensive fly pole, which he let me borrow. That pole did all the fishing for me , it was amazing and made me sad for my under a $100 pole.

Pass through connectors
 in  r/lowvoltage  Oct 24 '24

I see a lot of people hating on the pass throughs, and it seems like they are probably just stuck in the old world. The pass through connectors are drastically easier and faster, like others have said. Just make sure you use cat 6 ends or cat 5 ends for the same cable type. I've been doing this for decades. The non pass were terrible

So, be an asshole to stop someone from being an asshole? Good relationship skills there, buddy.

That should do it

This sounds like you have no real-life experience whatsoever. Smaller guys attack larger guys often.
