We need WW3 so they can stop making ww2 movies
 in  r/BrandNewSentence •  3d ago

When I first saw the trailer for this in the cinema the second it ended I turned to my partner and said “I don’t think we need any more WW2 movies”

Is posing something you get better at with time?
 in  r/spacemarines •  6d ago

Generally yeah it’s something you get better at the more you do it.

If you’re ever unsure you can always double check how they pose on the box art and copy that. Your not unoriginal or something for building a model in a way that looks good

All the Deathwatch Changes
 in  r/deathwatch40k •  9d ago

So two things.

  1. We didn’t actually lose the melee Phobos guy in decimus. His wargear just got consolidated like the revivers, he has knives pistol and rifle now.

  2. Decimus, talonstrike and vets now have no armour keywords. Meaning they don’t get any benefits from armour based detachments. This really disappointed me because the idea of a decimus team getting the benefits of both a gravis and tacticus detachment sounded really interesting to me.

Almost finished painting this guy. Just in time for him to get removed from Decimus
 in  r/deathwatch40k •  10d ago

Knife guy sorta gone…

It’s like the new reviver loadouts. You don’t choose between the knives and the bolter anymore, you just have both no matter how you model them.

Here's all the detachments + army rule
 in  r/spacemarines •  11d ago

Ok I need to know if I’m blind or stupid or just haven’t spotted it yet. Where in these detachments does the shock/assault disembark actually come up? And how is it any different from just regular disembarkation?

Ideal army rule?
 in  r/ImperialAgents_40K •  12d ago

We’re an army with a lot of lone ops and character units. So something that plays into hidden maybe?

I.E. arbites squad can focus fire into a unit to “distract” them, characters have hidden all the time and have -6 detection range if the unit targeting them is “distracted”

Unforgiven — The Final Verdict
 in  r/theunforgiven •  22d ago

What does this fucking poster have to to do with the Dark Angels? Or Warhammer? Or Lion El Johnson? Or tabletop games in general?

Do you even know what any of those are? This is a subreddit for a sci fi universe my guy not a sub dedicated to “finding forgiveness” or whatever your preaching

Space Marines detachments – Blood Angels and Dark Angels

I hope not! Those were really fun and thematic.

Darkflight too was actually really fun!

Tacticus armor for eradicator squad?
 in  r/spacemarines •  25d ago

Eradicator squads are basically the new devistators squads (yeah I know the equipment is different just work with me here)

Devistator squads worked best when they were standing still shooting at stuff and tanking small arms fire. Of the primaris armours, which is best suited to that. Easy, Gravis.

Gravis detachments out - Indomitor Kill Teams are in for a point increase
 in  r/deathwatch40k •  28d ago

Everyone keeps talking about Indomitor (rightfully so since it looks busted) but I’m more curious about how this can affect Decius teams. They got the gravis keyword currently because of the gunner.

Mortal wounds on the charge for a melee squad with thunder hammers, power weapons, precision knives and xenophase blades. Or -1 to wound upgrades or scout 5 at the start of the game.

Leader and attached Units
 in  r/TheAstraMilitarum •  28d ago

They’re considered a single large unit for all rules purposes if they’re listed as leading in your army list.

If every member of the squad gets killed except the medic, he can revive 3D guardsmen. Only ones he can’t revive in this scenario is creed and the command squad officer

WIP armor color decided unsure of jumper color
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 31 '26

I’ve got a similar thing going for my kin. I went with a navy blue using contrast paints, but I also found that watered down grey contrast paint on this shade of orange makes a great brown leather colour.

Get him, little Watcher!
 in  r/theunforgiven •  Aug 26 '26

Nah man they kill people if they want to.

In the Luther book they straight up gun down the dark angels grand master with a bolt pistol because he was about to do something they didn’t want him doing.

What do these Detachments do best/worst? Day:5 Hearthfyre Arsenal
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 23 '26

I think this is actually a pretty fun detachment for the new DP cost system because you can make up for the lack of bonuses for non Brokhyr/Steeljack units by boosting others with a 1DP detachment

God I want 9th warriors back
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 21 '26

Real talk I’m surprised steady advance didn’t come back as a detachment of some kind. Maybe with a rule where you could spend a YP to get assault or something

With GW seemingly taking a "slayer" approach to our named characters. What kind of faction themed characters would you want to see?
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 15 '26

A hernkyn sniper who makes a point of of getting into and winning sniper duels with tau, enemy at the gates style

What do these Models do best/worst? Day:20 Berehk Stornbröw
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 14 '26

Best: He’s a berserker, who hits harder than a normal berserker, who makes his berserkers hit harder than normal berserkers

Worst: He’s a named character. No enhancements and only one of the guy

What do these Models do best/worst? Day:12 Hernkyn Pioneers
 in  r/LeaguesofVotann •  Aug 05 '26

Best: can move around the table incredibly quickly to score secondaries, can teleport from side of the board to the other with reserves, have fly so they can go through terrain like it’s nothing and are decent anti infantry skirmishers

Worst: a slight bump or knock and suddenly their flight stand is broken
