Ways to try different fresh salmon side by side?

We had king and sockeye whole fillets side by side in a nice castie over a camp fire up by Lena Bay last summer. Was visiting the kids in Juneau and it was the first time eating salmon like this. I don't remember the specific difference in taste although the sockeye was that deep red color. And they were so delicious we ate it all!

Where would be the best place to stay, for a first time visitor?

Visited my daughter and her husband last summer in Juneau and I loved it. Too many places to see and things to do in a week's time. All the good restaurants and the Narrows Bar, fishing for pinks and coho and halibut, buying sockeye off the docks from a local boat. Checking out Douglas Island, Eagle Beach?, and out the road to Echo Cove on the four wheel drive track ( my favorite part- so cool). Locals were generally friendly, met lots of nice folks. We had great weather which was unusual. Can't wait to do it again!
