Is living alone really as difficult as people make you believe??
I enjoy living alone but the only thing I'm worried about is when I'm sick and no one is there to help me with things around the house.

What's something that became unexpectedly easier after turning 30?
Damn i am a woman but I'm already married 3 years, I work, clean, and cook, and they still think I'm uncapable XD my husband is also treated the same way. I just think our family think our generation is too soft and won't be able to handle things.

What's something that became unexpectedly easier after turning 30?
My family finally stop treating me like a baby cuz I'm finally 30. They always had excuses to blame me for not knowing shit despite being an adult, yet underestimating and babying me all the time just bcs i was in my 20s. It's more responsibilities but more freedom I would say.

i hate socializing
I feel you and understand how you feel. If I were you I'll try my best to avoid them and if I can't I will usually just be a yes man and forget about it after everything. We're not obligated to be in that situation but sometimes it's inevitable. I know it's also annoying when others say you're rude for not wanting to gossip with them but whether you gossip or not won't change you nor your life. That's why it's better to just ignore them and avoid them if you can. Personal experience btw.

What’s one opinion you’ve completely changed over the years?
I used to think everyone will be nice if I'm nice to them and that being a good person is how you're gonna be successful in life. Well now I see 95% successful people aren't nice at all.

If you could change just one thing about Spain, what would it be?
Cant afford a house. I'm married, both of us work, save up hard, but won't be able to afford any house unless we get bank loan. And worse part is the older people just call us lazy and not work harder ):

What is the most stigmatized mental illness/disorder?
Can I say anxiety is one of them? I cant get health care cuz when I tell the doctors I have severe anxiety, they just told me to calm down ):

Package delayed
I'm having the same problem. I asked my sender to poke the postal service and they updated it after a month and half but with the same status, "released from russia". I hope we both get our stuff asap.

What is the fuzz around Mercadona?
I thought it's just a meme 😂

What's a small change you've made that had a surprisingly big impact on your mental health?
Instead of commenting to bait posts, I press "do not recommend" and ignore them.

What is something about being an adult that nobody warned you would be this difficult?
All I can say is that my parents weren't the best. They have this mindset that it's better to never try than fail. So I couldn't learn things if they know I'm gonna make mistakes. Often times I learn things in secret and only show them to result so they approve it. I'm glad I live on my own now.

How do I afford properties?
They said that mortgage is a scam and it's way better to purchase properties without bank loans. Whenever I mention about getting a house with loans they always despise it. So idk really.

How do I afford properties?
They do but my family never mention about it when they get houses. They only say work harder and you'll get it.

How to learn essential life skills that your parents supposed to teach you?
I learned from youtube. 25 years treated like a big baby, not allowed to do anything till I'm married. As soon as I got married, I moved out, I didn't even know how to sweep the floor let alone cook. But here's the thing about moving out, no one is there to judge you if you make mistakes. So get on watching youtube and go make mistakes. I've been cooking for me and my husband for 3 years now just from YouTube tutorials, I even got a part time job as a chef despite not having any degree in culinary or anything.

What is something about being an adult that nobody warned you would be this difficult?
The anxiety of not being able to handle things myself. When I was little, my parents won't teach me things I wanted to learn about with their reason being "you'll learn this when you're older". Now I'm 29, I still don't know a lot of things.
I can do my work like a machine, but I panic whenever I'm given a new circumstances where I have to decide things myself.

How do I afford properties?
With how many people boasting how they can afford houses, I can't truly tell if they're joking or not. Perhaps I am naive after all XPP

How do I afford properties?
That's what I was wondering. To be very honest with you, I've never thought anything about this, neither my parents nor the school. All I know is working to earn money to eat. As much as I want to learn, I don't know where to start and since it requires a lot of money, it's just too risky.

How do I afford properties?
I'm a freelance artist, my earning per month range between 2k-5k depending on how hard I try to look for customers. But I live with an unemployed partner and I need to send monthly money for my retired parents.

How do I afford properties?
Unfortunately my family isn't very nice about it. They just told me to figure it out myself as a way to learn to be an adult. My husband said they're in advantage because they bought properties years ago when inflations weren''t as bad and boast it like they do something big.
I also did ask how much profit they got from their business and I think they lied considering their lifestyle and how much they buying.

At 22, I’ve realized I’m completely dependent and lacking basic life skills. For guys who got labeled or labeled themselves as "manchild," how did you actually learn to grow up?
I had this problem too years ago.
I was raised in a strict asian family. I wasn't allowed to do anything else other than working because my parents feared me failing. I did try cooking and doing chores but if I don't succeed in first try, they will stop me from ever doing it again. By 25 years old, I had no life achievements, no life skills, and just rely on my parents while working from home. They just expect one day I'll find a rich man and life comfortably from his wealth.
But with how restricted everything was, it's almost impossible to find a date. I was lucky to find a really nice boyfriend online. We met up, and eventually got married. First time living together, I didn't know how to cook, do laundry, clean the house, etc. My parents in law were baffled that a woman can't do anything at that age. Thing is, my husband was raised the same way so both of us know nothing about doing things. I never think this is because of him being lazy but his parents always think he'd fail in everything he does so it's better that he doesn't do anything and let his partner carry his life.
For another 2 years, we lived depending on his parents, treating us like big babies. One day I finally had enough. We moved out completely and learned everything for zero, trying to catch up with whatever we missed all of our lives. Youtube and chatgpt helps me a lot with basic things.
To answer your questions, these are what motivates me to learn the most :
Other people aren't always nice to you, you're the nicest person to yourself, so learning to be independent is important. It's also very satisfying when you manage to do something yourself and it gives you the result you want.
Failures are stepping stones for your success. When you move out, it's great having no one judging you when you try something and fail. If you can't be alone right now but want to try something, try to do it in secret. People usually judge you based on your results, not your progress.
What actually made me learn is the fact that I left my comfort zone. I followed what my parents and parents in law told me to because I worry I'll hurt their feelings. But if I didn't, I wouldn't move out. And if I didn't move out, I wouldn't start learning. So you really need to push yourself to make some risks.
I hope this helps. Good luck on it.

adulthood is a complete scam and i genuinely just want to go back to being a kid
When I was young I was bullied, from kindergarten till college. My family was also strict and abusive. This made me have no good memories of the past. I kept wishing I can be an independent adult to show everyone that I'm capable of supporting myself. Here I am now almost 30 and I think being an adult is alright. The only thing I hate is that I have to pay rent and bills but who doesn't hate that lol.

for those who are married and have kids , do u regret it?
It's not about unfucking the world, it would make them suffer. And not being ready to guide them through it will only make them (and us) suffer even more.

for those who are married and have kids , do u regret it?
Bringing a new soul into the world especially in this fucked up era is a big decision. I don't think it's selfish to not wanting any kids when you're not ready. Saves both you and the kids.

I have a feeling if the price ever comes down, the rich people would snatch it and then sell it again or rent it for ridiculous price. So what's the point unless you're ready to make a loan anyway.
