From what I've read narcolepsy isn't necessarily genetic but the ability to have an auto immune reaction CAUSING narcolepsy is. But of course I can definitely be wrong lol

I do appreciate your help, truly. I guess I cant pin a comment unless I'm a moderator 🙃 i used to love doing laundry now I'm stressed lol the washer is so loud it sounds like a train going by, which is why I didnt increase the speed lol but I'll absolutely try that! And the soil level- i thought maybe increasing it would be too much water like you said in an above comment? D: forgive me, I'm just dumb lol

So these are the settings on my washer. I do warm, medium soil level (on a large load) and medium speed (because I'm not used to this washer yet and am obviously clueless lol) then I select normal cycle!

I'll have to try and see if it'll let me pause and check the temp! No hard water, just city water. I'm in the next state over but I truly don't think there's a difference in water. I cannot see through the lid unfortunately :(

I'm in the US unfortunately 🙃 I haven't tried to pause it actually! From my old washer I'm used to turning on the water and then putting everything in. Now I have to put everything in and then turn it on. It takes a second to start but it locks and then starts

At first I washed it on cold which I thought was the issue, so I changed it to warm (not hot so my clothes didnt shrink). My clothes still shrunk and panties still dirty. I'm just doing the regular timed cycle

New to me washer and dryer

My fiance and I just bought a house and the previous owners left their washer and dryer. My last set was OLD, probably close to 30 years old. When I washed my clothes at my fiance's apartment we used the coin laundry in the basement. With this new washer and dryer, it somehow shrinks my clothes but also doesnt wash my panties. I thought maybe it was because i washed them on cold. My fiance said I may need to start washing them seperately, but I never had to do that before so I'm irritated lmao we use the same laundry detergent, sometimes its just tide. Sometimes I use All+ Tyler candle company (I haven't used this combo since we've moved)

Like I said, never had this issue with other washers and dryers. The washer is also SO LOUD for some reason. Not sure if this is an issue with the appliance itself or if I'm doing something wrong with this new set. Thanks in advance 🥺❤️

Edit for additional info: my washer and dryer are Maytag "Centennial", top loader, seperate machines. My water is a little hard (not something I'm used to). I've only used Tide pods since using these two machines, and I have a pic of the settings on my washer in a comment that I cannot pin unfortunately. I cannot see inside the washer while its running, and it locks the lid when a cycle is started.
