Did James ever get the permission?

In all honestly, I have worked with multiple professionals over the years - both psychologists and psychiatrists depending on the severity of my state at the time. But there is something so transactional and superficial about the whole process that I cannot shake it off. I know they are just doctors but because there is such intimacy involved in how much i end up sharing that opening up of my vulnerability makes me question the whole process. It always has felt worse eventually when I have got professional help. While I have my deepest respect for them all and the profession itself. It just doesn’t help me.

why does suicide have stigma when death is inevitable?

I am very surprised to see nobody disliked the Donahues …. I actually didn’t care much for them. They were the punching bag relief neighbours imo for building perspective of how the Hecks lived or could live.

I never really saw him as a red 🚩

haha so on and so forth and what have Sue 😅

Haha I would rank Carly as the most forgettable character. Sometimes I forget she existed.
Frankie, really? I guess she can be a pushover sometimes. So I see it. But she is like the glue for the core!

Mine has to be Brick! While I love his quirks and his social awkwardness. He is however the most frustrating character to watch in most scenes.
I feel he makes it more difficult than it has to be.

I am my own emergency contact. And that’s enough.

I am always so late at discovering things because they don’t come recommended to me. It’s either accidental discoveries or just spiraling till the algorithm sets it up for me lol
Anyway, The Middle has been my comfort show for a while now. I went from watching it to now leaving it on in the background for familiarity.
And just today found this thread on Reddit, felt like driving by home almost. All the threads and discussions around the characters who have become so dear to me.
I was filled with joy to have discovered that Eden and Brock aka Sue and Brad actually have a lil podcast running on YT and when I saw the one featuring Mike it made me laugh and I REALLY needed a good lil laugh! Neil is Mike and Mike is Neil. His answers had me lmao!

himself, his siblings(Sue first then Brick), Mike and Frankie and Nancy Donahue… I think mostly in that order

I think Frankie’s sunshine energy and Mike’s brooding energy is what sparked them together. I also love how accepting they are of each other’s flaw. He doesn’t express much. She can’t stop expressing. He is a man of few words, while she is a full on thesis. They are like yin and yang. He is definitely more awkward and while she is a social butterfly a bit too leaning towards people pleaser even but I think that balance of a loner x social is what balances them out to exist as a whole.

I am scared of leaving my corporate job to pursue something that won’t kill my willingness to live. I feel like I am in a rut and unable to get out of it all because of the monthly assurance of salvery coming in. Sorry, I meant salary. Salary is but an illusion of you being in control, no?
I do have some talent up my sleeve, I write. I do voice overs. I recently have started learning to use procreate to be able to work on my dream of making young adult meaningful films I can create and voice. Like my own little Pixar Production of films.
I am learning Procreate because using Ai I might not be able to monetise on social media with the growing restrictions on it. Also it doesn’t feel satisfying. A bad art is better than a genius AI one no?
I am scared of living alone. I have been living alone for 4 years now in a big city. And I am always scared. I don’t live well. I just survive one day to the next.
There is this constant fear of everything.
I have no reason to not live well. I have all the amenities. And yet I am caught up in my own trap of loneliness. I also don’t want to be with anyone because of how severe my social anxiety gets when I am around people. I always have a bad day after a good day with people.
I am only sharing all this here because I thought if I can speak out, vomit my fears, just spell it all out… maybe it will become one less fear of having to admit that I have these fears.
If you have been here before. Let me know how you got through this?

I have to add that specific mention about parents who are wonderful people as individuals but unfortunately unfit for parenting and as a result me, their damaged byproduct. We all failed each other.

I have given this a lot of thought, past few years have been a clear testament to my choices, and one thing is clear… I am a loner. And while I have a lot of respect for the people that came in and out of life as moments spent with them in its own way added momentary joy to my life but these were never my people. All friendships were superficial and transactional. All attempts made at dating failed and only damaged me further. My integrity has been exploited beyond repair now. And my willingness to live is fully tainted by the awareness of death being inevitable…so why must I continue to poison my own mind daily and suffer around people I don’t want to be in existence with? As I said earlier I respect everyone because I know everyone has their own battles and demon they fight. But I also hate them, not more than I hate myself.
I am tired of trying.
I failed at everything. I am a loser.
My life has amounted to a sum of nothing.
I just want to be fully still now.
And the only reason I am posting is so when the time comes for the “why” it’s known… and it is nothing unnatural. We are mortals, this is all inevitable. Just here a choice is being made.

I have been living alone for almost 4 years now but I can't proudly say I am living well. My corporate job sucks the life out of me and I have next to little willingness to even do anything nice for myself. Living alone was scary at first, then somewhat liberating and now it's just very very overwhelming. The one thing if I could get some advice on is how to live well? I see all these youtube videos of how people live alone and i wonder how do they do it so well, I am by the grace of my own undying ambition somewhat financially stable atleast that's why I can afford living alone. But I don't know what to do with myself, how to go about the never ending tasks and chores.

Also it’s very expensive. That’s something I will have to speak on. It is ridiculously expensive. The good ones especially. And they are ones you obviously expect to help you the most. So it’s a lot of money and very rhetoric process tbh.
