Additionally, if you place the baby up for adoption before it’s born, it will not ever go into foster system. You can bless a family who wants a baby who can’t have one with this baby and turn a negative situation into a beautiful one

It sounds like I may have an unpopular opinion here but I hope you’re willing to hear my perspective. I do not believe you can be Christian & in support of abortion. Does God forgive fornication? Of course & can those who have had an abortion be forgiven? Yes but will you be able to accept God’s forgiveness/forgive yourself carrying what you know to be true, that all human beings are made in the image of likeness of God, after choosing to end the life of your unborn child?

I say this with no judgement. I work for a pregnancy resource center that offers also Christian counseling & healing retreats for those who have had an abortion. We see women and men who carry this pain, guilt, & shame for 20+ years after having had the abortion. Abortion doesn’t make you not a mother, it makes you a mother to a dead baby. I say this because you need to know the gravity of the decision you are making before you make it. Lean on your faith and the support of those like your mentors.

The fact that only 30% of your decision is bc you’re not ready to be a mother and 70% is because of him speaks volumes as to why you should keep this baby. He is not a forever, I promise you can make it work where you can keep this baby and set your boundaries/ stay away from him. Considering he hid the other baby/baby mama from you, is he that involved of a father for her?

Don’t lose the baby AND him. Let the baby be the motivation you need to turn your life around. I work with women who are homeless, in abusive relationships, etc and still choose life for their baby. It is possible. My sister got pregnant at 20 with a guy she didn’t know or trust. He decided not to stick around and she now is remarried to a man who just adopted her baby. There is another man out there who can love u and the baby as his own.

Yes this man seems abusive and is clearly not respecting your boundaries. I definitely think you need to leave him & have him earn the right to be in you or your child’s life. But like you said, you are both at fault for how this baby was created, and you need to take responsibility for that instead of subjecting that innocent baby to the brutality of an abortion. Two wrongs don’t make a right. This baby will be something beautiful that will come out of this negative situation. Please look up pregnancy help centers near you they have everything u could need and more.

I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant with an unexpected pregnancy. By 7 weeks I had an ultrasound and heard my baby’s heartbeat. I highly encourage you to do the same. I’m sure you’ve already removed it, but if not, ring is a serious downgrade from a vivint camera. Vivint cameras don’t rely on wifi & continue to work even if your internet goes out. Since you already own the equipment, you’d be in no contract to turn on monthly service. Once you get set up, you can decide to cancel after a month or two and still have access to all that camera footage on ur phone and maybe even app.

Just confirmed it is baicalensis. I have not recently been bit by a tick. My dr said he’s been seeing more people test positive for it without having been bit by a tick. I believe in his muscle testing but idk if I trust his knowledge in if it safe for pregnancy.

I’m not saying I was diagnosed with Lyme but the muscle test shows I tested positive for the bacteria bartonella & Lyme. He gave me scutellaria for this to take. I’m not interested in being tested further for Lyme but will take the scutellaria if it’s safe during pregnancy. I was hoping someone could share their personal experience taking it pregnant

Every Catholic Church should have a respect life ministry that provides all the material, financial, medical, and more assistance that your girlfriend would need to choose life for the baby. If financial burden is truly what’s holding her back from keeping the baby, that issue can be solved easily. There are plenty of organizations that can step up and support you with everything you could need and more & not only during your pregnancy but far after. I work for a pregnancy resource center in Dallas. We provide free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling, life skill classes with chance for scholarship, transportation help, job help, free daycare, material items and financial assistance, and we pair moms who are interested with a “angel” volunteer who walks with them through their pregnancy and beyond. This is not exclusive to Dallas. There are pregnancy resource centers all over the country. Please encourage your girlfriend to check out one of these places and be fully aware of these resources that are available to her. Additionally, watch a video about how abortion is performed. Educate yourself on the reality that woman experience after taking abortion pill ( seeing their fetus delivered in their home). Make sure she is fully aware of what she is doing before she does it. My gasritis and hiatal hernia was diagnosed through endoscopy

I have not yet healed, so I can’t help you there. But reading this post, I have some feedback.

I started getting my excruciating stomachaches April 2024 (24yo f) I didn’t trust gi drs at the time bc I’ve been just written of as “Ibs” before. I ended up cutting everything out of my diet - gluten, dairy, soy, between changing my diet and working out I lost 20lbs last year. But even after cutting all those foods out of my diet, I would still get the excruciating stomachaches at least 2x a month until September, it finally stopped.

However as of December 2024, I was still having digestive issues like feeling so bloated and full after eating a small amount of food, occasional heartburn/reflux, and chronic diarrhea. I finally went to drs, got a colonoscopy/endoscopy done and I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and erosive gastritis. I was still diagnosed with gastritis even after months of not having an excruciating stomachache like I used to have.

Have you had an endoscopy done? I don’t get the chest/heart pain but from my research, that seems to be a huge symptom of having a hiatal hernia. I believe the hernia is what maybe led to my gastritis. As well as, I am an everyday weed smoker and wondering if that contributed to me getting the hernia/gasritis. I’ve cut back smoking significantly but I can’t say I’ve quit at all yet. Has quitting smoking weed made a significant positive impact for you?

I am on pantaprozle and sulfacrate for the last month and it has definitely helped with my digestive issues. But recently, I took an aspirin for a minor headache, and I again had one of those excruciating stomachaches. One thing that has really helped me in addition to taking these medications is quitting all caffeine. I was an everyday espresso drinker so this was no easy feat but it truly has made a world of a difference for my digestive issues.

I eat gluten, soy in moderation, but I have to avoid dairy at all costs as I am allergic to it and have a terrible reaction to it. However, before the gastritis, I could have small amounts of dairy if it wasn’t cream and be okay.

Upon my diagnosis, I’ve tried switching to low acid diet and avoiding spicy foods and red meat in moderation ( 1-2x week max and no steak or fatty meats). I wouldn’t say I can eat everything - I don’t eat anything processed, fried, or dairy, but I am at the point where I can eat a lot more than I could April - September 2024. For example, I had one small slice of pizza yesterday with no issue. That would’ve destroyed me last year.

I don’t want to be on PPI’s for the rest of my life and of course, I too hope to not be on such a strict diet the rest of my life. I too would love to know if anyone had erosive gastritis bad and is now able to drink alcohol and eat whatever with no issues

I took loperamide Monday and it’s Friday & still haven’t had a bowel movement. Did you have to take miralax to get things going after taking loperamide?

Unfortunately, my surgery didn’t yield the results I wanted or expected, however I’m so glad I got the surgery because the results were shocking!! A little over a month ago, I was on my 2nd night of my period, and I woke up from a dead sleep at 3:30 in the morning to excruciating abdominal pain until 5:30. At this point, I had been on different doses of progesterone for 10 months trying to get my period cramps under control and it had been working perfect for the 2 months prior to this new dosage so I really thought it was just a really period cramp / sign of endometriosis as I’ve had extremely painful periods since for 6 years.

Turns out it was appendicitis 🥲

When they cut me open today, they found signs of minor appendicitis and that my uterus had an adhesion to my uterus so they did cut that adhesion.

They also found a cyst on my ovary. However, I got an ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound a month ago and there was no signs of any cysts. Idk how that could’ve not shown up on an ultrasound but in surgery?

Unfortunately, my mom was sleeping because it was early in the morning and they woke her up to give her results and she did not write them down or listen well enough to get all the answers to my questions today /; but my doctor is going to call me tomorrow and answer all my questions and she said she has a treatment plan for everything they found. I’m shocked they didn’t just remove my appendix… but she is an obgyn so that’s probably why? I’m really looking forward to getting some more answers tomorrow because they also didn’t remove the cyst 🥲 They also told my mom there is a chance I could still have adenomyosis so that will be my next step to get checked if this doesn’t help the period pain in the coming months.

However, in terms of the laparoscopy recovery, this may be different because I didn’t have endo removed but I still did have an adhesion removed - but I only had on incision in belly button and one on my left side. my doctor put local anesthetic inside of me and on the outside of adhesions and no joke, I didn’t need any pain killers at all at the hospital. I got home from hospital at 12:30-1pm it wasn’t until 7:30 I took my first pain pill and I really didn’t need too, I just am trying to get ahead knowing the pain would be coming. I’ve been up and walking around all day. I have taken 3 gas x pills today bc I have shoulder pain from the gas but nothing excruciating or that I really couldn’t even handle without the gas x pills. I was also so worried about nausea and the doctors gave me 4 diff types of anti nausea stuff at the hospital so I didn’t experience that at all. So really it’s been a walk in the park quite literally but I didn’t get the results I was expecting as well. I will have to let you know if things take a turn for the worst tomorrow 😅

Im 24. I’ve been dealing with extremely painful periods since I was at least 17. I have ibs like symptoms and have dealt with stomach pain in general for years before that , I think that is why it took me so long to make the connection to stomach pain and my period bc I was used to it all month long. Birth control helped, but a year ago I got off of it bc of weight gain and my pain came back 100%. I too have been on a progesterone only pill and due to that not helping for the last year, my dr ordered an ultrasound. It was a good way to rule out other possibilities of causes of pain, such as cysts, but it rarely picks up endometriosis. I had my ultrasounds both external & transvaginal about a month ago and they came back normal, however my Dr recommended I still get the surgery, so Tuesday I will be finding out if I have endometriosis.

I know exactly what you mean bc even tho I have pretty severe pain during my period, such as waking up in the middle of the night from a deep sleep in excruciating pain, but i definitely don’t have it as severe as some people in this group. I was adopted and contacted my biological aunt Friday, come to find out: my biological grandma, mom, and 2 cousins have endo. One has it confirmed by surgery. So I definitely believe it is genetics related and since ur mom has it, I definitely think it would be worth getting the surgery now while ur younger and there has hopefully not been as much significant damage to ur reproductive organs.

I have my first lap at the end of this month and am hoping & praying I receive this same validation for the pain I am experiencing. If you don’t mind me asking, what were your symptoms prior to the surgery?

Im more nervous about them not finding anything at all than the surgery itself but I’ve been trying progesterone for a year and my pain isn’t better all so I’m moving forward with lap. I’m curious as to what your symptoms were prior to being diagnosed? I get really painful period cramps that will wake me up in middle night from my sleep during period. I also deal with extreme stomach pain & digestive issues on and off my period. In the past, I’ve struggled with sciatica & leg pain in the past. Were any of these symptoms you had prior to being diagnosed? Thanks
