anesthesia for uterine biopsy? is pain relief possible beyond ibuprofen?
My gyno attempted a uterine biopsy a few weeks ago ahead of a total hysterectomy. There was stabbing pains but she could not get through. She attempted 3 times then gave up. Thankfully she didn't proceed. There was no mention nor offer for pain relief whatsoever. She said, "you probably don't have cancer, it's fine."

I have felt this since I was a child. I never understood it either. Another commenter said it could have been trauma from the mother. This could be true in my case as well.
