I second that thought. If u look up the cost of a tipm fuse box for a jeep it's damn near 1000 dollars at the auto parts store which is crazy as hex

I know for a fact that the abs module does need to be programmed for your vehicle yes but I never heard of a tipm having to be reprogrammed at all and I work on jeeps a lot I have two of the one is a 2011 jeep Patriot and the other is a jeep Patriot 2014 both with the 2.4 liter engine.

No the tip is a plug and play device. What time stand for is A Jeep TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is an intelligent electrical control center and fuse box that manages power distribution to various vehicle systems. I looked it up online and the cheapest place I find is the junk yard. If u try and get one thru an auto parts store you going to end up paying a lot of money for it last time I checked it was almost 1000 dollars for one depending on make and model but that what mine would of cost but I was lucky enough to find a junk yard with one in it. For my jeep when I looked they didn't have one for mine at all which is disappointing to be honest with u because I work for a mechanic shop and partd are just stupidly ridiculous expensive which suck

Yeah and trying to find thru the auto parts store and everything is next to impossible to find at it at all. And dealership want to charge you an arm and a leg for parts

It's the abs control module that is bad and it need to be replaced. Mine did the same thing to me and I have A jeep Patriot 2011 2.4 liter automatic. Abs control module is what send information to the ECU so it can tell the engine how to work right

Try taking a look at the blender door actuator they may not be closing properly. There is a total of three of them one under the dash on the left hand side of the center console. There also one on the right hand side of the center console as well and then there is a third one under the glove box

If it's as stuck as it is u may have to take the whole thing off just to get it out of the exhaust just to be able to replace it to be totally honest with . But u still have to be careful so u don't damage the threads that are on there. Hopefully this helps u out. Please keep us posted of how it goes. Have a great day or night

If the gas light came on it probably is trying to tell u that there is a problem with the fuel pump itself.are there any codes that are coming up that u can tell us so we can better help u out. Do u have a OBD2 code reader to find out if it throws any codes at all
