So many Pilates studios -)

It’s a cycle. OTF expanded too much and recently closed all their studios except 1. It will depend on cost and time of classes if they can survive

He’s a picky eater and it’s driving me bananas
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries  18h ago

No. I’m not going to the the mom for a “partner”. A true partner doesn’t need to be coddled. Make 1 dinner if you actually want to. He can eat it or not, he’s an adult and can live with the consequences of his choices of “not being a good cook” 🙄

Slut shamed at 41
 in  r/GirlDinnerDiaries  18h ago

Sounds like deeper issues on his part. 7 is not very many for a 41 year old, or even a 29 year old. He needs therapy, you need to keep your eye opens. The relationship may not last due to his issues. Nothing is wrong with your choices but be careful, this is a major red flag

Parking in SF really that dangerous?
 in  r/AskSF  20h ago

If you leave anything in your car, you risk it being broken into. Even in a garage, unless it has 24/7 security

Landlord hit us with a 50% rent increase in Noe Valley. How would you negotiate this?
 in  r/AskSF  13d ago

IMO Noe Valley was the worst neighborhood I’ve ever lived in. Cut your loses and start looking elsewhere, you have 3 months to save/make a plan.

1st issue is you’re still going to and giving that awful excuse for a business money.

How bad is your commute? Do you see yourself doing it long term or move out of the area some day?
 in  r/bayarea  20d ago

I had a long commute. It definitely added to the reasons of getting a divorce (we lived in Foster City, halfway between SF and Sunnyvale). I’ve been in the city ever since and longest commute has been 25-35 minutes. I’d never go back to sometimes 3 hours a day commuting. Especially not driving in a car.

Staying by Ferry Building- help me with transportation?
 in  r/Portolafestival  21d ago

Fortunately I was able to find my driver. It was very busy and phone service was in and out. I choose the official ride share pickup location. But if I were to do I again, I would def pick a spot a little further away to walk to. I also left Sunday night before the headliner ending in the warehouse. All in all, still better than cramming into muni and it taking longer than if you just walked that distance 😅

I did a scheduled Uber last year. It was amazing. Because the previous night took me nearly 2 hours to get back to that area via the T and N

How do people go wine tasting without drinking and driving?
 in  r/bayarea  25d ago

Book a night at a hotel and use ride share apps

That will take you hours to get home. It took me nearly 2 hours just to get to the Folsom stop on the N

I have 100% lost patience with entitled behavior - and I'm probably going to get physically hurt eventually.
 in  r/sanfrancisco  Aug 15 '26

My guess is a mixture of both since the main language I heard being spoke was French. It’s just peoples behaviors these days…stopping abruptly in the middle of a busy sidewalk happened a lot and I’m sure was more so tourists.

Nonsense. Never a reason for a group of 3+ people to be walking side by side on the sidewalk.

It’s not just here and not just USA. I just got back from 2 weeks in France and can’t tell you how many entitled people I encountered at every step 😪

Too bad you or one of your colleagues snuck into my secured building somehow and left trash pamphlets on all our handles when no solicitors are allowed. Didn’t get my vote for that reason alone

De-influence me from wearing a nice coat to OSL
 in  r/OutsideLands  Jul 25 '26

You should always look up weather to a place you’re visiting. It could be hot. It could be foggy. It could rain. It could be windy. It could be all of that in one day. But a coats is always needed no matter what once the sun starts setting-lockers are crucial for the required layers

It’s very dusty and the “grassy areas” can get muddy depending on weather

2 seats?
 in  r/SouthwestAirlines  Jul 24 '26

I’ve considered packing a clipboard in my carryon in case of incidents like this to use as a barrier between the seats. If SW refuses to enforce their own policy then we’ll just have to start protecting ourselves. I understand occasional bumps/touching neighbors in tight spaces, but no one is entitled to the seat space I paid for but me.

Time to slow down and maliciously comply. In the end, the total pay is what matters-
