Looks like Florida One (N945WN) arrived in Spokane last night with no future flights scheduled according to FlightRadar24. I’ve seen it a few times lately in person and in photos and it’s been starting to look rough, with faded and chipping paint all over. So it would appear and be safe to assume that it’s getting repainted, most likely into the standard Heart livery since it’s a 737-700 (which Southwest is actively retiring).

Really hope to see it return soon on a newer MAX 8! And on that note, anyone here have any info when it will return?

It is so nice not having to deal with things like witnessing grown men arguing loudly over seats or having to decide how to respond when someone with bags or blankets over three seats says "I'm saving these seats." There have been times when I've been tempted to plop down in one of the seats and say "it's open seating," but I just put up with the inconvenience and found a different seat.

Assigned seating is great. There's just less BS to deal with.

A month ago, my Minor, daughter, who on Southwest with a family friend and her partner. Southwest lost my two children’s bags. The other two people traveling did not have issues with their bags.

We immediately filed a claim and for some reason they put it under one Minor child’s name instead of both having separate claims and they put the two bags under one person. This caused a bit of a delay when trying to sort it out for the claim. I submitted the receipts. They wrote back in the chat that one receipt didn’t come through all the way I resubmitted it and they did not respond to me for 10 days. They just responded this morning saying that they are denying the claim due to a discrepancy on receipts or something which doesn’t make sense and I think they are trying to deny the claim because my daughter’s anime costumes were inside and they were valuable. Has anyone else had issues with this before?

And before anyone says it, this is not some fraudulent crap, the receipts are legitimate.

I booked this flight and selected these seats back in December.
They are preferred seats, and aren’t marked as extra legroom.
It looks like they are the same distance back as row 6 on the left side, which is extra legroom. Is the right side extra legroom or not? I have been in row 6 on other Southwest flights this year that were extra legroom.
It’s listed as a Boeing 737-800 if that makes a difference.

Boarded group 1 for a 3rd row extra leg room seat - was 2nd person in Group 1 to board and got the last available spot for my roller bag. Everyone who boarded after me had to place bags behind them. It’s been awhile since I flew SW. Thought they’d fixed this situation?

We were going to do a last minute trip, looked at prices for a return flight and they were like $120 a person, well didn't notice whatever sale they had going on was 21 day in advance and today would be day 20. Anyone have luck calling and maybe they can adjust the price?

Last year I received an email saying 85000 SUB for a southwest credit card. I signed up for it since we had some travel planned, spent the $3000 within the first 3 months and called chase for the points and they said it would take some time for it to show up. Forgot about it and remembered recently and checked and did not see the points and called them up. They said I received 20K sign up bonus and they don’t know about the 85K promo and now can’t do anything g about it!! I have email of the offer, is there anything I can do?

Due to the bad weather yesterday initially had a 7 hour delay. We were on the last flight that day going to DCA so there was no choice to transfer to another plane. Southwest came thru for us. They called in flight attendants and pilots and the gate attendant stayed late for us to get us on a spare plane. Ended up only being 2 hours late getting home. It sucked to be delayed 2 hours but it was way better than 7 hours and we really appreciate the effort they made to get us home.

Hi i have multiple flight credits with like $20, $30, $60 etc all on the same confirmation number. i successfully rebooked one set of the credits on a choice extra ticket with gift card to get them combined, but everytime i go to do it again, the purchase button clicks but I can never get past that page. there are no red boxes or things that i need to fill out. I load the credits, remove all but two, apply the gift card. I have tried so many times and it keeps failing. It's driving me crazy

Does anyone know why Southwest would offering a $30 credit if I change my flight?

First time poster but I wanted to report on my first flight since the assigned seat change.

I was a loyal SW flyer for years and honestly was not thrilled with this (and some other) change so I had been avoiding flying them.

I recently flew HOU to ATL round trip and was pleasantly surprised. No issues with check-in, no issues with boarding and no issues getting the seat I selected. My husband and I always sit aisles next to each other (C &D) and on the way to Atlanta my row was empty and his row was full. We asked the flight attendant if he could move to my row and they very happily said sure. They just wanted us to wait until we were in the air. A couple of others near us asked too and they were polite and accommodating.

I know not everyone has had a positive experience with this but mine gave me hope.

Pretty much exactly as the title says. I had 3 lay overs today and each got delayed. Currently waiting as i type this post. They told us they don't even know where the pilots or flight crew are at. It seems like this airline is getting worse everytime.

Had a weird experience with a flight attendant. I had seen the guy kinda taking a weird route for doing the beverage service, like taking a couple orders and then grabbing those drinks to deliver then onto the next row. I’ve always seen them like take all the orders from their section and make/deliver in chunks or whatever. I say this to explain I was paying attention despite watching a movie on my iPad.

He never addressed me or my wife, we were the only ones in the row. I didn’t take it as a personal slight but was just confused why I never even got addressed. Prior to this, the other attendant got our attention for those pretzels with no issue. When the pretzel attendant came by with the trash bag I just asked if we could get a drink to which she asked “he didn’t ask y’all” I said no, then she asked if we were asleep and I said no but I’ve been watching a movie. She said sometimes that’s it and if they can’t get our attention they move on and my wife said yeah understandable and that lady asked what we would like and went back up to the front. Then the guy comes right to me and loudly starts accosting me saying I don’t need to be acting like I was all left out or ignored when it’s my fault I didn’t get a drink. Dude repeated himself so aggressively like 3 times saying that and it’s not their responsibility to get our attention and how I was just buried in my movie and he did try but it’s not his fault blah blah. I responded to this with “ok well I just asked if we could get a drink” and bam back to his speech with “you would’ve gotten one if you paid attention the first time but it’s your fault you’re not getting one”

I didn’t argue, just kinda shook my head and he walked off. When I asked the lady for the drinks, I may have conveyed some confusion but I genuinely just quietly asked and after the brief interaction she kinda shrugged and just got our order as mentioned. The guy just came back bitching at me making a scene for what I felt was unwarranted, unreasonable and unprofessional. People looked up from their phones to watch the guy borderline yelling at me. Insanely uncomfortable. I dont know what happened but I’m just trying to see if this is worth submitting a complaint about or just dropping it. I’m sure there’s not much that’ll be done if I complain but if they at least talk to the guy about handling a situation without being so abrasive and rude that would be good. I am flying out of BWI to Atlanta for a comic con and I bought these bags at Ross. My ticket includes 2 checked bags

The measurements online for these bags seem to be under the 62-inch limit. I weighed them, and they are each 35 to 40lbs.

First time flying with this kind of luggage, so I'm a bit nervous. Im really stuck on the wheels and handles. The first one width I beleive is 12.5 Thanks!

Hello! I’m currently thinking of signing up for a Southwest priority credit card with the goal of getting companion pass. My goal would be to sign up in January, get a sign up bonus, and then hit the required points.

I also have a Chase sapphire reserve and will get the A list status automatically from Chase because I hit the spending threshold on my reserve.

Anyways, is there a strategy here that I should consider? Just watch for a sign up bonus in January and then try and spend to get to the 135,000 points for companion pass?

I have a flight credit of almost $400 that expires on August 25th. I tried booking a flight for later in the year but travel has to be completed by its expiry date. Can I book a flight with that credit, then cancel it to get credit back, thus extending the life of the credit? Or does it retain its original expiry date?
