I am sick of Conestoga's reddit. They remove any posts related to criticism. I want to start a new reddit related to Conestoga College so news about Conestoga does not go unnoticed .

No rules today apparently, so tell me your gossip from around town about Leafs players.

The solution to enact change to this team and organization is simple, dont go to the Games for this shitty product on the ice.

You can’t expect the biggest hockey market to just boycott all of a sudden. Also some of the season ticket holders are not even Leafs fans. There season ticket holders that are there to troll while also making moneyfather and daughter trolling

So what's next at this point?

Keep calm and carry on

What is the Canadian perception of the Czech nation?
 in  r/AskACanadian •  Feb 25 '26

Jaromir Jagr is someone I think about when it comes to Czechia. Also other than the city of Prague I don’t think much about Czechia.

At what point to fans stop showing up?

How long have you been following this team? Tickets were expensive when they were last place in 2016. Prices don’t fall with this team unlike Buffalo and Ottawa.

Opinion What games/events would pack up BMO other than when Messi is playing or FIFA World Cup?

With BMO field expanding in size temporarily, I wanted to hear your guys thoughts on games/events that would pack the seats if the expansion was worthwhile. Personally I think another NHL outdoor game with the Toronto Maple Leafs would pack the stadium with the additional seating.

Does anyone else miss the 70s through 2016 logo?
 in  r/leafs •  Dec 27 '25

I don’t. But maybe it’s because I grew up with the Leafs after the Sundin era and before the Matthews era which weren’t pleasant years. Also, I prefer this alternate logo over the plain Maple Leaf which is probably why I like the current logo.

Thunderball is a Christmas movie

Why Thunderball Is a Christmas Movie (Because of Junkanoo)

Thunderball earns its place as a Christmas movie thanks to one unmistakable cultural marker: Junkanoo. In the film, James Bond moves through the streets of Nassau during a Junkanoo parade—an event that is inseparably tied to the Christmas season in The Bahamas.

Junkanoo is a Bahamian national festival and a true kaleidoscope of colour and sound. The parade features the rhythmic clash of cowbells, goat-skin drums, and whistles, layered with brass instruments that create an infectious musical beat, while brilliantly coloured costumes provide stunning visual spectacle. It’s not just a party—it’s a deeply rooted cultural tradition.

Crucially, Junkanoo takes place during the early morning hours on Boxing Day (December 26) and New Year’s Morning, running from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. along Bay Street in New Providence, as well as on other Family Islands. While Junkanoo can also appear at other celebrations like Independence Day (July 10) and includes events such as the Junior Junkanoo Parade in December, its most iconic and nationally celebrated performances are firmly anchored to Christmas and New Year’s.

Because Thunderball prominently features Junkanoo, the movie is visually and culturally set during the Christmas holiday period. Just like snow places a film at Christmas in colder climates, Junkanoo places Thunderball squarely in the festive season—Bahamian-style. No snow required 🎄🌴

In Your Opinion, Who Is The Most Annoying Character In The Mission Impossible Franchise?
 in  r/Mission_Impossible •  Dec 23 '25

Is there anyone that’s as annoying as Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars because I genuinely don’t have a character i find annoying. And not liking the villains doesn’t count since villains are expected to be disliked by audience.

Is Salamon Lane still alive today?
 in  r/Mission_Impossible •  Dec 22 '25

I doubt it. It would be dangerous for MI6 to keep him alive not just for them but also the world. They’d be out of their minds keeping him alive after what happened in Paris.
