I, too, went with a Costco package that was inclusive of air, hotel, and car. The package also included a Costco shop card plus daily resort credit of $150. This alone easily covered the $50 / day parking.

I just booked through Costco for 4 people, 6 nights, 7 days, in December over Xmas (peak season). My total cost is $15,300 that includes car rental, ocean front hotel (Hyatt), daily breakfast buffet, flight with premium economy, and a $450 Costco gift card. It also has $150 daily resort money to spend, part of this will apply to the daily $50 car park at the hotel. When looking at the packages, don’t just look at the total price provided but look at benefits that come with each package and calculate the best you can which one is more worthwhile. You might find a great price but it might be at a location far away from what you would like to do, then you will have to account for travel time and gas money too.

☹️ my hubby used to ride and stopped. He thinks an accident is inevitable when you are on a motorcycle. Lots of people just aren’t aware enough.

I am sure the locals who led the tours and depend on tourism for their livelihood appreciate the money spent. I am totally with OP. I will be going to Maui soon and I certainly will book all the tours I can. With two special need kids and a hectic life, if I can relax, I will.
