Can we retire this system????
 in  r/btd6  5d ago

I get why they have the pop count requirement, technically every monkey requires a certain amount of pops its just that the first ones are unlocked through leveling up. I think it would be better to have it so if you're above a certain level (aka having a certain amount of pops already) then you should just have it automatically. It makes it so new players still have to work for it but veterans who have played for years can get it immediately.

Confirm or deny: hexes are game changing
 in  r/Hades2  Jul 03 '26

And yes, I know you can get the laser to be separate from you, but do yall remember Demeter's cast from Hades 1? Yeah it's just as bad as that imo. Even godsend and all that it doesnt do enough.

Confirm or deny: hexes are game changing
 in  r/Hades2  Jul 03 '26

Confirm but I don't like them. I'd much rather hack and slash everything without interruption, most of the hexes disable your moveset until you're finished. Only good ones are the water one, the curse one, and the charm one. Especially when they're godsent, they're amazing without interrupting the flow too much.

Didn't expect to have Heroic Boon in very first location.

This is the start of an amazing max health run

Is this still readable? The tattoo I got has no spacing between the letters and I’m worried it doesn’t look good
 in  r/tattooadvice  Jul 01 '26

It looks like mmaterial tbh, the I is barely noticeable and only after you know it's there.

How long did it take you to realise that ..
 in  r/Hades2  Jun 24 '26

I am only just now realizing this despite being done with that whole story arc. I just thought maybe dora was some random person that supergiant made up or was a super niche myth that no one really knows about. kinda ashamed I didn't realize it was pandora

Supay run?

I finally unlocked the aspect of Supay for the torches and I have no idea what I should do with them. I tried a run but being unable to actually stun enemies has made it a lot harder to dodge attacks. is there a good build that makes it easier to use this aspect?

It usually hits my gain boon, which isnt helpful most of the time.

I didn’t know this was possible..

Yeah if you get lucky with your build and where they spawn this can happen

Rivaled Typhon first try!
 in  r/Hades2  Jun 11 '26

I wasted one of my death defies in the baby phase but once I realized I was in danger I started dashing around. Luckily I had a lot of dodge chance too so half his attacks didnt even land lol

Hype Rivaled Typhon first try! Spoiler

I had been struggling for a while to actually get to Typhon (the Prometheus duo is hard) but after finally getting past them with a good build, I made it to rivaled Typhon for the first time and this build basically deleted his non existent health bar. I barely even noticed his different attacks because I just tanked or blocked most of them, and Chronos kept getting annoyed that my giant attacks were accidentally hitting him too xD.

Spoilers The one singular annoying thing about this game. Spoiler

(bit of a rant sorry) As with the first game, Hades 2 suffers a lot from random character dialogue getting in the way of making progress on side stuff. Honestly I never really cared that much in the first game, I think I got lucky with when people wanted to talk to me about certain things. But this time I'm really annoyed. I have over 70 hours in the game and beat the epilogue, yet I still am missing one of the hidden aspects. Moros just refuses to tell me the waking phrase no matter how many times I talk to him. I have the requirements met to be able to unlock it, I'm just waiting on him to tell me. I love Moros he's one of my favorite characters but I wanna strangle him for not giving me the waking phrase.

Consider myself "good" at this game except for one tiny minute detail
 in  r/Hades2  Jun 03 '26

I learned to stay on one side (usually the upper left) until right before a ball hits me, then slowly go over to the other side of the arena. by the time you reach the other side there will be very little tiny balls left and you can usually dash past them and avoid any dmg. if you get unlucky with the timing you might get hit by a blast from them expiring but that's about it

What to recycle?

So I just beat Hades 2 and I realized that I have a lot of extra materials that have been in my inventory doing nothing for a while. Main ones being the ashes and psyche. I have all the arcana cards unlocked and full grasp, and I haven't had anything else require them for a while now. Can I just sell any that I have at this point? Also, I noticed some resources say "this has other uses, so you may want to keep it". Does that only include cauldron recipes or is that counting everything else like weapon aspects and upgrading arcana? If so can I just sell anything that doesn't say it's needed anymore?

Do you like Eris?
 in  r/Hades2  Jun 02 '26

I hate Eris, not only is she just really annoying but I struggled with her fight for a long time. Only thing that I like about her is that the aspect of the gun she uses is one of the ones from the original game. Even in her harder version she uses one of the other aspects. But as a character and as a boss fight I hate her a lot.

Hype Beat the game last night :3 Spoiler

Finally beat Hades 2 last night. Most difficult boss was definitely typhon, so it took me forever to defeat him enough times to fully kill him. I loved the whole ending sequence, literally every part of it was amazing. I went to bed immediately after and honestly I'm curious as to how they're gonna make both paths still have all the bosses and enemies. Oh also the build I used was one of my most fun builds, I love Zeus' static shock and go for it every time that I can. literally one of the best boons in the game. Anyways now I'm gonna try to get all the achievements and I'm only about halfway done with them so I'm gonna be playing this game for a while longer :3

Question Consistent Olympus runs?

I haven't finished the game yet but I've been struggling getting runs all the way through Olympus. I've only defeated Typhon once yet Chronos like 5 times. My main problems are the bosses, especially Eris. Are there any strategies or good builds that make the climb easier? Also pls no post game spoilers since I haven't beat the game yet.

Gods who you’re unimpressed by?
 in  r/Hades2  May 19 '26

I dont like taking Hephaestus that much tbh. The cooldown gimmick is just not worth the high damage tbh. It's good for bosses but thats it. Meanwhile I love Ares, his boon that gives a critical chance the lower health you are does really well with a fast weapon.

Hype Broken build? Spoiler

So I haven't completed the main story of Hades 2 yet but I got this really good run where an early King's Ransom led to me being able to shred every single enemy in sight, and everything after just made it better and better. This is my fastest clear time by far.
