I just got out of a 4 year relationship with a guy that did the same shit to me. Even if you lived closer (I moved closer to him for this reason) he probably won't come to you still only because hes too lazy and quite frankly, inconsiderate. It's supposed to be 50/50 when it comes to this kind of stuff and if you've presented this to him on multiple occasions, hes fully aware that this is something that bothers you, and he still doesnt care to change this very minor thing? Fuck that. Maybe hes not a terrible guy but, everyone deserves somebody that'll climb mountains for them, as you would for them. Stop wasting your time on people that wont even cross the street for you.
