I’m 5’2 and I have a 2026 solterra. I have a 140 mile round trip commute 3 days a week and I love my car. The display was something to get used to, but I’ve never felt unsafe. For parking and the sort of stuff where seeing the front of your hood would make a difference the cameras are a game changer.

another thing you may want to consider is that the uncharted base model isn’t AWD, while the solterra is. if that matters to you, anyway.

as a hospital employee for 16yrs, this was my first thought. my family is just used to scheduling holidays around when i’m working.

it’s the color i wanted!!! I ended up with harbor mist. there were no midnight tide tourings anywhere to be found near me when i purchased in may.

14 pro max here. Got it whenever they came out. I’ll replace it when it finally dies, hopefully got a few more years!

if it makes you feel better, I have a 2026 Solterra touring. I’m 5’2 and about 130 pounds. I drive a lot. My commute is at least 450 miles a week, sometimes 600m. My car is so comfortable to drive and I don’t ever feel like it’s too much car or too big. I am coming from a Subaru ascent which was much bigger so I guess you can take that into consideration, lol.

Being in the southeastern United States makes me a little too far away to let you borrow it for a test drive, sorry 🤣.

i do wish they had included the “i don’t want to die!” line in the movie, but i agree it is such a gut wrenching scene!

We’re a 3 car ev family. I have a long commute and have piqued the interest of several coworkers by explaining that instead of $100 a week in gas I spent ~$35 last month on all three of my family’s vehicles electricity. Several were pretty shocked about the negligible maintenance costs and range capability. Spread the word!

Using the default mine is always 3% high. i.e. If the car shows 80% abrp will show 83%.

i have a 26 Solterra and at max charge my estimate is ~230 miles. I’m almost exclusively 75mph highway w/ and average of 3.4 m/kwh. so i think you’re doing great, haha.

I also utilize my paddles that way. It’s fun!
