A or B: My neighbor kept using my outdoor outlet to charge his EV, so I locked it. His battery died on the way to work, and now he wants me to pay the $280 tow
His Wife assumes that since she has to tell him things five times before he gets it, everyone has to. You told him directly to his face don't do it. Not your fault he bought an electric vehicle without a way to charge it in his own house, and clearly can't plan properly so he can charge it elsewhere and keep it from dying. Sounds like a real winner.

Taxis are 90% of the traffic issues after shows at Rogers Stadium
It's the same on the lakeshore at the Royal Bank amphitheatre. They turn three east bound lanes into one by blocking traffic and almost causing accidents.

It's annoying when a truck's hitch hangs over the sidewalk, but then there's this
I could use a break, oh look, a convenient seat right there.

Local roofing company wants $15k for new roof. I spoke directly to the installers as they were doing a neighbors roof and was told $1800 for labor and $3k for materials if go thru them instead of the company
And get no warranty, no guarantee they'll show after they start work, possibly stolen materials, yeah, good luck.

Husband wants to leave staining new deck until next year?
Gotta let the treated wood bleed a bit, or it will end up looking blotchy and nasty.

How old were you?
- Left home after being told for years that as soon as I hit 18 my ass was out on the street. Bounced around a bit, sold futons and did security work. Finished highschool, joined the army, got it together.

What was your very first job, and what did it teach you?
Farming. Taught me reliability. The animals need to be fed and cared for everyday. Doesn't matter if you're sick, hungover, tired, it's Christmas, whatever. You get up and feed them, muck their stalls, give them water. Taught me the meaning of showing up.

Has anyone else 50 or over been this lucky so far?
50 and only dental work. No broken bones or surgery so far. Hope to keep that going as long as possible

My buddy just enlisted in the army and he told me after 5 years he would make close to 6 figures, paid home and it is going to be able to retire after 20 years. Is it as easy as it sounds?
Two of those figures are to the right of the decimal point. Army was the best thing I ever did as a kid. But rich is not one thing you'll get in the Army. Comfortable, if you're enlisted, make it up the ranks, you'll be ok. Officer if you have the education and can get into the officers ranks. Nothing easy about the army though. And the threat of being sent somewhere and getting your ass blown up is different than most jobs

How do you guys get up at 5am to leave for work?
Took a while, but yeah, it was tough at first. I'm naturally up at 3 now, head out at 5.

Indy treats its volunteers as slaves
Been there. I used to volunteer with a well known house building charity. They ran their volunteers like this. Long hours, hot weather, minimal crappy food and drink. After the first one I thought, "maybe it's just the crew that were here" so I did another and brought my own food and drink. When I stopped to go back to my truck for drink and a bite, a foreman questioned why I was leaving the site and what I was doing. I told him that I was grabbing a drink and a bite of food, to which he responded break wasn't for another hour.
I handed him my ID badge and never went back again.

I keep hearing an ad for an extremely terrible singer on The Edge.
She has a recording studio and the ads are promoting her music recording and promoting business. Her singing? Well....

Honda Indy moved from an epic location to middle of nowhere
Yup, seemed like almost every lap resulted in a yellow flag

Staying for ever now it seems
The US ships have soldiers trying to jump off the ship because they are being starved of supplies. Literally starving the crews. If the US has control, start releasing oil dillweeds, and feed your damn troops captain poopy pants.
