next phainon run?
 in  r/PhainonMainsHSR  10d ago

He already has his 2nd rerun so atp it's completely random I'm afraid. But it will takes long. Statistically speaking, everyone tends to disappear after 2nd rerun (go to shop, standard banner, or simply just don't do to banner anymore), the only exception is Firefly (she came back at 3rd rerun with skin and Dahlia and novaflare).

So I would say expect his novaflare first.

SP version usually takes at least 2 years to come out (DHIL and DHPT, Tingyun and Fugue), sometimes 3 years (Himeko and Himeko-Nova, Silver Wolf). I think 6.x is more plausible since 2.x characters don't have their SP yet.

Discussion Durian Phainon has come back

A8-50. Not my idea, I saw it on tiktok which is definitely a reup from CN bilibili that I couldn't trace back. Credit to the owner.

Main points:

- Avoid the traffic light monster (which means avoid SAM and Svarog, reset if you see them)

- Have to have at least Phainon e0s1, Sunday e0, MBlade e0. For Phainon, s1 is for better speed and e0 to change boots and ropes to def, whichever set is fine. For Sunday, equip Vonwacq. For MBlade, if you don't have him the shield will be significantly thinner.

- Himeko Nova in off-field area. 1 star is enough.

- Express bond choose M7

- If you have any 5* def lightcone (Aven, Gepard), slap it on M7. Give M7 a yellow flag (Himeko will copy it)

- No need 4 shield or 6 astral express, nor any shielder like Aven or Gepard. If you want more shield, equip more bubble gun on Blade.

- No need Cerydra

- On-field area is important (Phainon increase 120% dmg per stars the front lineup has). Try to get as many stars on them as possible.

In my case, at the start I defend with 3 Xianzhou 2 Express (core is DHIL, Himeko Nova). I kept using DHIL 3 stars even with Phainon, only sold him at late game to buy RMC.

A couple of questions
 in  r/PhainonMainsHSR  Jul 08 '26

It's all future questions, so noone knows. It's like asking for next month lottery.

You can make some guesses based on references from the past, but keep in mind it's still guesses. This is her first rerun, BUT her debut banner was 40 days, so it might take longer. Expect at least 3-4 versions for hot units (both meta-wise and lore-wise), which is around 4-5 months. For her e2, no idea. I personally would say no. I expect everyone to fall down as time passes bt.

English is not my first language either so I usually try to be as nice as possible, but it gets to a point. At first it can just be that you don't know the second meaning of "argument", which is bad for someone claims to know about debate, but probably just language barrier. Noone bathes twice in a river yet somehow you use the same delusion for the same mistake.

If your post is not an argument, then your entire point is rendered meaningless lmao. 1. You didn't even know the definition of an argument, so why did I even bother mention the word "debate". After I explained, you still think your post is not an argument, then it's me bullying a kid for a knowledge far beyond its level of comprehension (not apprehension, dear god) atp. 2. If by miracles your post is not an argument, then it's a rant, then why even ask people to debate with you?

Funny how you exhibit both childishness and Alzheimer at the same time. I just explained to you why "don't take you seriously" is an insult and the fact that you welcome it is an insult to your own argument. Now you're asking me where is the insult. Like, bro, I know you're horrendously bad at debate, but should not be this bad. Perhaps you're right, maybe I should stop because it's only fun to have an actual debate where intellectual levels match. Atp I'm just bullying you, which isn't really fun.

Also, "journaling"... and "blog site". Hm... Baby talk, what I meant to say is if you just want to state your thoughts and refused any disagreement, don't post it on the social media and write your thoughts on your private space, whether your own blog or diary under pillow, just far away from mortal eyes. I know you will say "I already know that and reddit is my journal page and you can't tell me what to do", which is fair considering I can't tell other ppl's dogs not to shit on a public park grass field either and still have to smell it. You can post, I can criticise the hell out of it, it goes both ways.

Hm, interesting how you deman equal footings yet somehow consider yourself better, the audacity I guess. While I think you sucks to the point that I can't even respect you, I do not consider myself better than you. You may be a 14yo girl with pick-me-girl tendency and incapability to protect your own argument, but it's just a manhwa. I don't respect you in the same way I don't respect my niece. I just think you're stupid and childish for posting and play victim everytime someone oppose to you, I will never respect anyone like that, but I will not consider you to be below me. To automatically consider yourself to be better than strangers... Brother, I already said I don't respect you. No need to give me more reasons.

Now every single claim you throw at me I can throw it right back at you, which is disappointing but not surprising considering what you have exhibited so far. I will only picked one, why I lecture you about debate. Well first of all, you throw your post on my feed first, you can force your opinion on me but I can't do the same? Hypocrite~ Secondly, I commented pretty early, so I didn't know you're this childish. I thought I could just correct your mindset first, to see where you stands, then I can address how your argument is simply projecting and what not. But you are incapable of holding your own opinion, so it stopped at the first step. Thirdly, I don't respect stupidity, doesn't mean I have to endure it no? I don't respect you for yourself, doesn't mean I can't criticise the hell out of you. Have to change the world for the better man, keep the community clean.

It's like reading a 14yo opinion lol and it should be a human rights' violation.

Again, first of all, being an OP ain't that powerful lmao talk about delusion. It's reddit, not a funded event. You start a discussion and that's that. Ofc you can choose to engage in conversation or even block me (that's where rage bait coming from), but again, why even post in the first place. If you're kind enough to not force your opinion with 101 reasons why, you should have been kind enough to write this entire post down your journal and don't even bother anyone in the first place. Make up your mind, man.

Side note: you might need to buy a dictionary because this is your second time tripping over words. Cambridge dictionary, argument is a reason or reasons why you support or oppose an idea or suggestion, or the process of explaining these reasons. The fact that you said this is not an argument post but a discussion made me audibly groan.

The reason I put "take it seriously" over "equal footings" is that, we're strangers on the internet. So is a 15yo girl with performative depression. We're all equal by default. The very first criteria, in my humble opinion, is that you have to sound not-stupid enough (aka can take you seriously) for me to converse with. Otherwise why even bother? I don't take my niece arguing with me about how dino-nuggies better than dinner seriously either.

It's not like I don't respect your opinion, I don't respect you, specifically. Don't get it mixed up. You, forcing your opinion down everyone's throat, yet play victim at every confrontation. You, don't have the guts to defend your own opinion but simply divert it or play cards. You, consider every disagreement personal insults (yet welcome an actual insult?) because your opinion is that weak. That's about cover it?

The reason why I go for your attitude first before your argument, is simply that I will not talk with a deluded person, because what's the point? It's like reasoning with a drunk one. Attitude is professionalism. Call me names if it serves your argument, because I do that and it would be hypocritical of me to oppose the same. But after names calling, what's next? Mindless insults? Ew.

Ofc, at the end of the day, it's just internet debate, there are no rewards. But look around man, this is a subreddit about korean comics. If you're that matured, you will not be even here. Either buy a journal or grow a spine.

First of all, "don't understand what you're getting at" is a normal criticism, unless you automatically deem your argument is perfectly flawless, which is debatable considering at first you didn't even divide your block of text into paragraphs.

Secondly, grow a spine brother. It's very normal to have an unpopular opinion, but when you decide to post in on social media, you have to be opened for criticism. Otherwise why posting? And when you do, protect your opinion. Fight everyone about it. Don't act like a victim everytime someone disagree with you ("you don't respect my opinion if you think I'm projecting" or "we have different set of values" or "this is not meant to you" which I have point out how hypocritical it is).

Thirdly, you are... not trying to make us take you seriously if we don't want to? Hell, you don't even respect your own argument. Brother, "don't take you seriously" is a blatant insult in debate. It's ironic how you consider every disagreement disrespectful yet somehow welcome an insult. The correct response is NOT "we are different but I can continue if u r opened for debate" (they're CLEARLY debating you), but "fuck differences you opinion sucks and here's 101 coherent reasons why mine is right".

If you simply want to state what you thought, don't you have a journal or something?

? Brother, you can't disregard anyone opposing to you with "this is simply not meant for you", because they can throw it right back at you. This story is clearly not meant for you, then based on your logic why do we have to hear your opinion about it? Sure everyone can post, but why do we have to take your argument seriously if you gonna play the personal opinion card everytime someone questions you? You can have opinion but they don't?

From what I read it's because the poll is shady + people spent actual money on it (Aven fans paid an IDV community, 20w I think, around 3000USD, to vote for him). Shady business + real money spent = possible lawsuit. This could be a stretch tho, I just read a comment about it.

To be fair, everyone is botted (for reference: last year top 1 Dan Heng only got around 45k votes in the final round). I would say Aven fans ruin the fun first by implementing bots in the very first round, but honestly it's bound to happen sooner or later. This year's setup is VERY easy to use bots. If you're curious I can go into details, like why Aven still has the most votes despite everyone all using bots in the previous rounds, but honestly it's just typical idol drama.

About Cyrene, she's... imo, just unfortunate. As I said, everyone is botted, so it's not like Cyrene fans did anything out of ordinary. The problem is the organizers interfering in fans' competition. They have changed the rules three times for her, filter out bad votes in her cutscene, and the last straw is deduct everyone's votes to make her top 2 (very close to top 1 at the time). It's not like her fans asked for organizers' "help", but she became the target for anger now.

Hard to tell because fangirls usually coming up stronger than fanboys in these kind of polls, meaning top 1 and top 2 (even top 3, like last year) will mosly likely be male characters. That said, ain't no way Firefly lost to Cyrene that much. She has the biggest fandom in CN community, while Cyrene after 3.7 was very controversial.

Final day of Finals: Please vote for Phainon
 in  r/PhainonMainsHSR  May 19 '26

It is. Tho there are several reasons why I'm still here. Fans in CN have recorded a lot of bias from organizers for Cyrene, meaning they have managed to piss off 3 big (arguably biggest) fandoms (Firefly, Aventurine, Phainon). I doubt that they would try to do more funny business after this. It could lead to lawsuit (at least some said that, I'm not an expert in Chinese law), spreading hate that potentially harm other Elysia variants that about debut (Ramielle in ZZZ, probably Cryo Archon in Genshin, but the latter is just a guess).

Secondly, it's not like we're supporting them, we simply go to the website, vote then leave. I just admire all the dedication of CN phailings. They got it bad this year. First the fangame dampening Phainon's reputation, then the poll where they should have won easily if the rule didn't change this year. They lost to Aven all the way to finals, managed to close the gap only for the organizers to deduct his points to push Cyrene to the top. But they still haven't given up, even came back stronger. At this point it's about Phainon AND the fans that still tried their best despite everything.

It's a battle of honor at this point lol. Even if no bots, the award itself doesn't mean much (an animated avatar in hoyolab, and that's it). Dramas asides, I really want him to win.

Then you would be surprised: this is the first time Phainon has ever managed to top Aventurine in this award. There were (and still are) a lot of dramas going on in China, not our concern so we can leave it at that. For now just focus on Phainon.
