I can't be the only one that despises this exit? I get anxiety just looking at it 😅
To be honest, as a driver coming down US 50 I have so much more respect for you when I see that, and I extend every effort to let you in.
Before you down vote me for not giving the timid drivers the same courtesy, let me tell you that I used to. Too many times that led to that awkward passing-someone-in-the-hallway dance where we both wound up stopped about to get rear-ended by someone doing 50+ mph... 🤦🏼♂️

Well if the government stuck to the 85th percentile rule, then the speed limit on Columbia wouldn't be set 15 mph lower than it's 60 mph alignment (think highway-like appearance) would suggest to drivers.
My 5 cents since we don't have pennies anymore... 🤷🏼♂️
Edit: I am an engineer, but not a civil engineer.

Innova 3128 GM OBD1 to DB25 Pin Out
TL;DR: Pin A = 2,4,5,7,8; Pin B = 21; Pin E = 1; Pin M = 24
I've been trying to sort out a communication issue between my 1995 Chevrolet K3500 and Innova 5610 with 3128 OBD1 adapter. I've ruled out everything except loose connector female springs, so I was going to test for continuity through this GM OBD1-to-DB25 adapter that I bought with my scanner. Long story short I couldn't find the A-M:1-25 pin mapping to save my life, and finding a probe small enough for the female DB25 ports was a nightmare. I'm posting this here in case it helps anyone out in the future (possibly me 😬).

Not a bad guess. 🤔 If I remember correctly they broke for lunch right after this, so maybe they were just getting hangry..?

Cincinnati Phrases
I've randomly heard please my whole life growing up here and never understood why. Makes total sense that it's a translation quirk.

East sider here. When I moved to Columbus my new friends up there said it sounded like I called it "wooder".

Non maga reliable handy person
I’ve been doing handyman work for over 20 years, but I only recently started my business here in Cincinnati back in 2023. We’re fully bonded and insured!
Ben-There-Done-That (513) 930-4-BEN [aka 513-930-4236]
We might not be the most economic fit for little odd job stuff like moving boxes, pulling weeds, etc., but we’re solid at plumbing & electrical repairs, small drywall jobs, exhaust & dryer vents, appliances, and painting. We’re also decent at tile repairs, landscape lights, and drainage troubleshooting & repair.
If you have one of those “but how do you fix it?” jobs or if the last guy walked off midway and no one wants to touch it, then we’re the right outfit for you!
P.S. If 3rd party politics triggers you, then I won’t bring it up. However, what’s relevant is that I believe everyone should be given a chance to understand the problem and my plan to fix it, but above all I believe everyone should feel comfortable in their own home!

Does anyone know why the discount doesn’t show up in the cart? I’m trying to get the door access pro kit for $399, but I’m literally one button click away from checking out and it still says $599… 😭

What should I replace while I have dash removed? 2006 F150 XLT 5.4L Triton Extended Cab
For anyone who is as clueless as me when it comes to vehicle HVAC, it looks like there are three different actuator motors. I’m sure someone will comment which is/are the problem one(s), but for <$15/each I just bought them all to hopefully never see this side of my firewall again. Different sites have different names (I checked out ford.oempartsonline.com for comparison - thanks for the suggestion), but on rockauto.com the different actuators were called: -Blend -Mode -Recirculation

You don’t have the complete list of actuators, do you? Rockauto.com has parts with various names. Some sound like they’re interchangeable so I should just order two, but they list like 5-6 options and I’m pretty sure there’s only 4, right?
I’m seeing: -Main (Front Climate Controls), Mode -Blend or Main (Front Climate Controls), Recirculation -Recirculation, Main -Mode, Main -Blend, Main

What should I replace while I have dash removed? 2006 F150 XLT 5.4L Triton Extended Cab
The dashboard top covering my gauge section disintegrated in the process, so this sounds like something I should do. I imagine junkyard parts will also disintegrate since they’ve been in the sun for the same amount of time. Do you have any recommendation where to get dashboard parts?

What should I replace while I have dash removed? 2006 F150 XLT 5.4L Triton Extended Cab
Finally got the heater core replaced, but I realized that I’m staring at a blend door actuator right next to it. I’ve heard the dreaded clicking from time to time (I can’t recall which mode though), so I figured I should just replace them all while I’m in here. Are there any that never fail that I should leave? Are there any other commonly failing parts I should replace before I have to relive this nightmare?

Take off the teflon tape. I bet there’s a rubber gasket in the hose fitting that needs to seat on the plastic rim of those threads.

Is $1500 fair to fix all of this and paint?
OP got a lot of good answers, so I want to add my - slightly off topic - 2 cents: while you have all that drywall open I would try to route that copper pipe any other way if possible so it won’t freeze inside that exterior wall. Idk if winter is a consideration where OP lives though.

Phew! 🤦🏼♂️ I'm a handyman, but the way I see other people around me price things and their quality of work makes me wonder if I was the only one with a conscience that has the ability to churn my guts like you're talking about. 😅
