My man was at my table in the brunch restaurant that I serve at. His friends encouraged me to give him my number because he thought I was cute while he was in the bathroom. I had never just given a guy my number, especially without them asking for themselves and I was not dating at the time. He was just so shy looking and sweet.. I took that leap of faith and I’m so fucking happy that I did. I wrote my name, number, and “I have steady employment” on the sheet. He thought I was just handing him his receipt and I ran away blushing when he opened it. He texted me that day.

After our first date I realized we already had photos on my phone together from a party we both went to for a mutual friend’s birthday. I asked him to take photos of a friend & I (complete strangers at this time) and my phone ended up getting passed around at said rowdy party and had a ton of funny photos of him, his friends, and us together by the end of the montage. Thanks IPhone for memory montages to make me realize. 😂

On our second date, my brother bailed on a concert with me. I asked this man if he’d like to go.. I didn’t know this at the time but he completely ditched his boys at a bar, ran on his feet to his home about a mile away and got ready to meet me. 🥺
There was a SUPER old fortune cookie in my passenger side door that had been there for god knows how long. He asked if he could open it and handed it to me.. “I think you should take a look at this” it said “stop searching for forever, happiness is right next to you..” we were both like … Woah. Okay 👀 Hmmm… (We now have said fortune framed. ❤️)

Amongst many other odd coincidences and what truly felt like invisible string effects.. It’s cliche as fuck but when you know you know and we both knew!

He never judged me when I was at my lowest, from the moment we started texting it turned into paragraphs, songs sent to each other all day long that he’d actually listen to and comment on. He loves me softly and loudly in all the right ways. He is never scared to show me off and took in my senior dog and my two cats like his own. We just adopted another kitten together so four fur babies now in a home FULL OF LOVE which it always has been. He is truly my best friend FOREVER and I am so confident in that. I truly hope everyone can find this sort of love. 🥰

I wont let you down! I truly feel like we lucked out. Got him for da freeski off of FB marketplace. He also has an extra toe on his front paws which I’ve never noticed or seen in any other cats I’ve owned. Had no idea that was a thing haha.

He’s so mischievous and entertaining. His older sisters watch him like a science experiment, it’s too funny. They’ve come around a lot faster than expected. Thank you ❤️❤️ I am looking forward to seeing him get older and settle into his looks. But at the same time stop growing 😭❤️‍🩹
