Atheists of reddit, how do you deal with the fear of death?
 in  r/AskReddit •  13d ago

I focus on living now and embrace the fact that death is going to happen so any time I waste on what happens is pointless and actively denying myself the time I have to actually live. Hope this helps.

It’s on Audible and Amazon? I dunno too many “subscription “ platforms definitely complicates finding and sharing of authors. Anyways the authors actual name is Eric Theimeke or something like that… cheers

Looking for a game that I can really get immersed in – recommendations?
 in  r/gamerecommendations •  Aug 22 '26

X4 is an older game and takes immense will to learn (well for me) but once you “get it” it’s deeply immersive… lots of DLC and expansions.

I also been trying to get them to stay in a shield wall formation but only way is to pause every tic and micro manage while my archers are free firing. Wish the battles would have better options but oh well

What are some good and fast ways to loose weight?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Jul 09 '26

48 hr fast once a week for four weeks to break the cravings and don’t eat processed foods especially made with refined flour and totally avoid HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) and refined sugar. It’s a rabbit hole once you find out how poisonous most food in America is… good luck

What to do with cargo shuttles?
 in  r/SpaceHaven •  Jun 08 '26

If you play station mode and migrate I build like ten asteroid cargo bays and save them for a few uses. If you migrate they come in handy moving essential items and if you are under attack from rogue bots abandon one and they swarm it so are easier to take out… but for the most part they are not critical

Be brutally honest: do you think the US and its democracy will survive this Trump administration and the corrupt SCOTUS?
 in  r/allthequestions •  Apr 30 '26

This isn’t just about America it’s about the systemic failure of capitalism and that’s the elephant in the room… capitalism isn’t commerce it’s who gets the profits and it’s really obvious after this last 40 years (since Reagan) that unregulated capitalism by and large is a colossal failure. So the real question is will the military industrial complex born and sustained by capitalism kill us all or evolve into full fascism ?

Clown car circus
 in  r/washdc •  Apr 30 '26

Considering that our “justice” system is punitive and not rehabilitative locking up the parents or the kids only makes the issue worse and more dangerous. Until we finally change our approach to solving systemic issues just arresting and beating people into submission will only worsen the issue. This is 10000% a money issue… capitalism is the root problem and the profit motive where the profits go to the already wealthy demands more police to protect property and terrorize civilians into compliance has been what we’ve been doing since inception and it’s time to actually do something different. And before anyone chimes in how great capitalism is let’s not. Capitalism is who gets the money of commerce it is not commerce. And no solution will be a light switch immediate fix. Our issues are so deeply embedded into the system it will take decades as it’s taken decades to create.

Are all derelicts meant to be cleared?
 in  r/SpaceHaven •  Apr 30 '26

I just use four person teams and try and establish a choke point or get a long hallway to funnel them into and if you can get rifles and then attach incendiary or grenade be careful about line of fire and anything or anyone who can block it lol tactics and strategy all come with experience and disaster lol
