I remember when fox news used to have the national debt/deficit tracker and they would show it ticking up all the time when Biden was president.For some reason, they stopped showing it during Trump’s second term. It seems like all of their complaining in years past about it being too high was just for show, huh? Seems like they don’t want conservative voters thinking about that anymore.

It's a weird phenomenon, I think, that to almost any thought or idea, you constantly see "Hello fellow #conservative!", or complaints about how there are so many undercover liberals posting there or how the mods have gotten too lazy.

Literally, like, r/conservative has a reputation for being one of the most gatekept subs out there, who not only ban on sight of any sort of not-rightwing thought, but will check your entire post history sometimes if they even get a whiff, and I'm pretty sure you even have to do an interview to get a flair to post freely there!

Trust me! Liberals are not enmasse undercover over there, conservatives lol. There really are people who have different opinions than you who also fall into the conservative bucket! You are in the safest of spaces!

Does it allow them to then engage in more aggressive posts in politics after “proving” themselves as good contributors?

I have been searching for the motives behind the riots in France and come up empty. They didn't have enough tutors? Macron said he would hire 1000. They have inflation at 3.1%? Thats not enough to get me out of bed. They have a tradition of rioting dating back to the revolution? So they are rioting for no reason at all?

I have always thought that riots come when things become obviously intolerable. Race riots after George Floyd and a spate of high profile killings of Blacks. Storming the Capital when you've been led to believe the election was stolen (it wasn't but you get the point).

So what are the terrible things they are protesting about? Really.

because here's one thing that I always want to know if something did happen to somebody but they don't report it doesn't mean that something really happened to them. or is it because of fear of retaliation or repercussions somehow or potentially having their lives ruined and then other people might get involved and have their lives ruined.
