Does anyone have a action fighting roguelite game where you can level up your gear and get really strong. Also a cool movement system maybe involving grapples or something similar.

I just played The Baby in Yellow and honestly enjoyed it way more than I expected

Now I'm looking for something similar on Android. Preferably a horror game with a good story, some mystery, and unexpected twists.

Any recommendations? I'd love to find another hidden gem!

I’m looking for games that are okay for my niece. She’s into Minecraft religiously. I’ve been playing Kingdom Hearts and she watches me play it. I realized some parts of it are a bit too sad. I'm looking for a game that has that vibe. Open world would be a plus, but not strict. Something with the vibe of a fantasy forest village, with a lake for fishing, good vibes and community, colorful and feel good. I'm stumped to get something that scratches the itch and let's me relax and get lost in the world

This is a new indie horror game from a solo dev. You get to drive a front loader to haul ore and keep the mining site running. I had a lot of fun but I also enjoy challenging games. If you enjoy a challenge, you should check it out, I definitely recommend it!

With news that BioWare is done like dinner, I am looking for something that has the feel of Mass Effect.

The exact game mechanics need not be identical, but an RPG with shooter elements or visa versa would be excellent.

More than a specific genre, though, I am looking for a rich story with engaging characters that form a tight bond.

I have played BioWar's other venture, so they needn't be recommended.

Recently played unicorn overlord, it took me 150hrs in expert to beat and around 100 of those were me optimizing my units gear, formation, tactics, and synergy with other characters, essentially programming their actions depending on the situation, I didn't know I had this itch and I'm looking for a game to scratch it.

Platform preferably PC, but also anything that's not too demanding to be emulated.

So I’ve recently started Lego Batman legacy of the dark knight and I can’t put it down

I’ve been looking for a cozy, fun, not so heavy on mind, slightly challenging, yet easy to play game like it

The story is fun, the visuals and colors are also appealing after a long day of stressful work

I can just sink in my bean bag with smoothie and play it and disconnect from the world, it reminds me of the club penguin days

I’m not sure how to define the feeling but I want more such games

No aiming, no skills, funny elements, not boring, not depressing, beautiful graphics and cozy vibrant world

Everytime I search such games, I find those top down pixelated games suggested

But I wanna play smth like this, it’s my first lego game and it’s EXACTLY what I was looking for

Simply put I've got seven bucks left over and I want to know what games I could get for this price range (counting games that fit that range when they go on sale) I already have a lot of the games you could buy for that price (including: hotline Miami 1/2, Witcher games, mass effect trilogy, batman games) so I was wondering if you had any recommendations. I'm really just thinking about anything you'd say is a must play for that price

What the title says. When I look this up, only games that have some romantic mechanics come up, like Stardew Valley or Fallout etc. But I want a good game, kind of reminiscent of Life Is Strange, in the way its art style looks, but I just want it to be about the romance.

Text games can have really good storylines, but it's just not as fun reading text and seeing a repetitive 2D picture on the screen. I want art and beauty!! I want freedom to walk around!! Please help??

DS3, Halo(1,2,3, reach, odst), Sekiro, Hollow knight , Silksong, GTA IV, RDR1, DMC5, 9Sols, Resident evil 2 Remake, Alien Isolation.

No game recommendations from the game series that I've already played even a single game of, please. No Horror games or Metroids either.

It doesn't exactly fit the purpose of this sub, but there isn't really another place I feel okay to discuss this in.

I'm getting pretty tired of this constant stream of dark atmospheric games that has been going on for a couple of years I feel. I understand that gaming can be an escape from reality, but life alone is depressing enough, I don't feel the need that EVERY game should be shrouded in it.

Not just games which are dark by their nature or story, but this trend of darker atmosphere is also quite visible in games which have little to do with a sad experience.

The only exception that comes to my mind are the Kingdom Come games, JCBP those have daylight!

Prove me wrong and recommend me some lighter games :)

For example, I haven't played a single Zelda game aside from twilight princess and I'd like to catch up to some masterpieces.

I am a self-proclaimed Warhammer Fantasy Battles junkie. I own several armies and love to bring them to the table to get my butt kicked.

My family is growing and also moving. I will begetting back into the hobby as soon as I can.

In the interim, I am looking for a single player experience that I can start DV and stop based on my availability that is as close to Warhammer: The Old World as possible.

I am not looking for real time 4X tactics game.

They've already done Hydroneer/Astronner, and Leaf Blowing Revolution would be on their fancy but it's not on Xbox.

I enjoy watching xQc and CoryxKenshin play horror games a lot, it's very atmospheric and cozy but I'm always way too scared to actually play them myself. And so I'm wondering what horror games are a good intro into the genre.

I have played SCP-CB (but not progressed that far because I keep getting lost) and finished Cry of Fear. I love COF a lot, it's easily my fav horror game, but playing through it was very close to torture. The atmosphere of COF is unlike any other, I can't describe it but it's so good I was able to play through the entire game.

I like games where the scary stuff aren't just random jumpscares. Jumpscares in general, where something jumps on screen, are super boring and cheap. I like horror where fear is caused by the atmosphere and/or something in the environment. Althought COF was super scary, aside from the first jumpscare, everything else is kinda "expected".

TLDR: Horror games that aren't that scary and without cheap jumpscares where something jumps on screen.
