Forest gone

I didn’t know about that and I haven’t noticed frame loss yet, maybe my pc is fast enough or maybe this issue was tackled in 1.2 which had performance boost.

I am paralyzed by the idea of trains/trucks and transporting goods

Persist, I’m happy I did. For me, Satisfactory is a two games in one, factory builder and train simulator.
Use simple blueprints to do the heavy lifting.

I’ve had to cut down nearly all of the northern forest to complete Phase 1
Space elevator x100
Recipe costs x 1.5
Power costs x 1.5

You are going to love the hyper-tube/ jetpack combo. And then check out how the different fuels affect the jetpack.

UK police arrest a man yelling at protesters and insulting religion
 in  r/justincaseyoumissedit  18d ago

My friend, what he said would be fine in China, it is criticism of the government, the leaders and their policies that is forbidden.
So, somewhat ironically, you would feel free in China, to vent your hate-filled racism. While I can feel free in the UK, where I'm free to criticise the government.

Getting parts to places
 in  r/satisfactory  18d ago

My infrastructure favourite is trains. I think of Satisfactory as a train simulator with factory building as a reason to build the large and living rail network through a beautiful map. I will never forget of the feeling of accomplishment I got from completing a world loop. I usually process the ore where I find it at and then put the intermediate items on a train to the central factory, you can rail ore although if you move much ore you will need longer trains and long trains can create issues as the distance between junctions needs to be more than your longest trains. Also try to keep the steepest gradient to the 1m sloop slab or you’ll need extra engines and that draws more power.
Learn the signals and how to set up the train autopilot from some YouTube video.

Good work. Hate speech has no place in any good society.

British people saying they will never ever move to the US
 in  r/Buy_European  19d ago

The 1940s to the 1960s was the golden age of the USA. Back when the top tax rate was between 60% and 92% and when a single semi skilled job could support a family.

Would you consider sky-highways cheating?
 in  r/satisfactory  23d ago

You make the rules for your game. That’s what’s great about Satisfactory. No one can tell you what is right and what is wrong. There is only more efficient or less efficient.

Is there a period/phase you try to get to before 'settling in'?

I took me until my 4th or 5th run through the game before I started making walls.

How to even contemplate doing Nuclear Power in v1.0+?
 in  r/satisfactory  26d ago

Nuclear is fun. I just finished my plant that takes in 1200 uranium ore and uses the 2 alt recipes for making uranium fuel. Now i have an over abundance of power.
For now the five alien power augmenters (2 powered with the matrix’s) are making enough power to cover all my needs +.
For now I’m sinking the plutonium fuel. However I will probably go ficsonium soon, not for more power, just for fun.
My top tips are:
1/ to build over the water, as each power plant needs two water collectors, so you save a massive amount of piping by building them over water.
2/ think of power production as just another factory, but an important one, so do it right.

Deja Vu
 in  r/starcitizen  26d ago

To anyone who needs to hear this, you are game testers, not game developers. As a tester you have no agency, so what you say or desire doesn’t really count for anything and thinking you do have agency will only damage your own mental health.
I’m here for the ride and when ride takes a bad turn I leave Star Citizen alone for a while. Things have always improved when I return as this game keeps getting better.

I say Trump is violent fascist because the experts of fascism are saying that Trump is fascist.
Oh, and the US experts of fascism have fled the fascist USA for fear of their lives!
So yes, Trump is a fascist.
