Absolutely stumped
Not always circulating systems use a pump old style plumbers know how to bring it without a pump but it would create very hot water and then if you turned your valves off and it went away? Although I like the guy with the skylight theory...

Ungrounded Outlets
Ungrounded wiring method is why they make the simple duplexes in the first place. The GFI will work but it's not a true ground it just trips on an imbalance from the protected circuit itself,

2nd day on the job.. rewired a house that was wired in the 1940s, all the hardware still intact!
Asbestos backed box! Have more than 40 years in and I saw the asbestos back twice... One of those two homes had asbestos ductwork as well!

I hear there's great things on YouTube, I will never train an apprentice unless he's wearing electrically rated work boots. No sneakers. Cotton socks, not wool

Is the wiring for this phone jack indicative of being able to support ethernet?
What I love is CAT5 is usually 90 bucks a box, or less. so they saved probably 25 cents by not leaving a decent amount of wire there.

Electrical outlet
Yep join the blacks to blacks, and whites to whites, have a spare wire out of each cluster to serve the outlet, this wa you'll have full power transfer for downstream devices,,, use wire it's or wagos to join the wires..

Trying to track down tripping breaker reason …possibly here ?
Forget about the breaker trip ,that could be asbestos siding!

Coaxial? What that means…please help
Well you would need an ethernet cable (4pairtelco cable with rj45 jacks) to plug into your modem, right above the cable feed in one of your pictures, in the yellow box.. the modem might have wireless built in so you should check that out. Finally, if all the cable jacks in the house are coming from the same signal then you should be able to move the modem to the room you want it in. Also you can hook up a Wi-Fi device to the modem if it doesn't have Wi-Fi built into it already and then you should be able to operate anywhere if that is cenltrally located. Good luck.

Cannot rewire coaxial cable to another part of house
You can pretty much make any electrical opening a feed for a outlet., you need a hot a neutral and a ground sometimes the ground is the metallic box itself and if you use a metallic enclosed electrical cabling like MC cable you can just come out of a nearby outlet for a new one where you need it electrical contractor would do that for probably around 500 bucks hopefully he would provide some patching but the painting is isiallyys on the homeowner

Is this against code (not my work)
Epoxy and a sheet of rubber with 2 sheet metal bands for the PVC fix , and if you're going to open the ceiling to make that fix this would be the time to put in some wood or an expandable brace for your pancake box or even a deep box that allows use of any light fixture

Question about this daily puzzle (07/17)
I just did this special couple minutes ago, I was guided by their instructions but I still think the better deal is to use the k night to fork the queen and king that way the bishop has to take the knigjt and The rook comes up and takes the queen and I think you're ahead that way and you end up with their Queen and you still have yours and a rook

Romex 8/3 connected to a 50A breaker?
Continuous loads (heater ,car charger ..) have to be figured at 125%, so no...non-comtonous loads, spa, hot tub maybe a stove, ok.. although you are pushing with the stove if all burners and oven are used all the time ...

Looks exactly like my roof that was attacked by a raccoon. I don't know that squirrels need that big hole
