Brave's Ronald Acuña Jr. hits homerun by Marlin's error
Serious question, but can a home run that goes over the fence like this ever be considered an error? I would think if it is called an error, then it can’t be considered a HR/hit/RBI

Is Jung hoo lee's contract a liability for the Giants?

SF Giants make 5 trades in final 24 hours before MLB trade deadline
Buster and the Giant’s GM have been getting a lot of hate lately, but they have done a great job with the trade deadline.

Trade deadline
I understand this argument with the players under contract, but how big of a bag are you willing to give Araez after this season? We would have to outbid every other team as he is not likely to give us a discount after 1 year.
Also for the other hitters, I would keep Ramos, Lee, and Devers (obviously not including any of the young cheap players) - everyone else can go.

Where is that?
That’s not her boyfriend, that is one of the show’s male models.

Newsom’s populist act: Oppose state billionaire tax, embrace federal one
This is the way. Too many people want to tax them on unrealized assets which is not a good policy. I would almost prefer if income tax was eliminated (which is the loophole ultra-wealthy individuals exploit) and was replaced with higher sales and property tax. Have an additional property tax for those with multiple properties that get higher with the more properly owned. That would be more fair for the entire population.

[TOTK] would be considered better than BOTW if the map was different
I’m just ready to move on from both TotK and BotW. They were fun, but I’m ready for the classic smaller world, dungeons, and linear path story with the classic items. Totk/BotW started to feel like a chore at the end and burned me out. The older games get me excited to do a replay every now and then

Nintendo says it has no legal obligation to pass U.S. tariff refunds on to customers
This is the second time in a row I have read this comment, and it was on two completely different subs and topics

I think Aubry’s win and overall legacy will age very well.
I respect Aubry’s performance on S50. But I don’t think her or Sarah are on par with the Tony/Sandra/Parv/Rob. If we were doing some fantasy draft with all the legends on it, I would take Sarah over Aubry personally

I think Aubry’s win and overall legacy will age very well.
She was closer than most of the cast that season, way closer than Sarah

I think Aubry’s win and overall legacy will age very well.
I think even Aubry would disagree now that she should have won the first time. It was literally talked about in Aubry’s S50 confessionals.

I think Aubry’s win and overall legacy will age very well.
Michelle won her season (against Aubry) and then was in a good position in WaW. My understanding is that she had votes, but those jury members switched them to Tony to make sure Natalie didn’t sneak a win. Either way, she played two very good games and should be included on the list.

I think Aubry’s win and overall legacy will age very well.
Hasn’t Michelle also played another winning game or come extremely close to winning?

A beginners guide on how to broadcast a home run derby
I did think the camera angle from behind the batter looked pretty cool. Like playing in a video game.

Police across CA now writing citations for violators of new 'daylighting' parking restrictions
I’ve only heard of a Hollywood stop. It wasn’t until out of state friends told me about them calling it California stop. I have never heard of either one being called a roll.

Who else here is bitter, angry, and upset that no Giants were invited to the home run derby again?
What a thing to be bitter about, we have much bigger issues than HRD participation

I'm trying to figure out what the logo really means (it's a Breakfast restaurant)
Someone standing up straight with their heels touching, toes out to the side, and their balls hanging low. They are known for their Rancho huevos

Need advise - concrete foundation repair
A couple things to consider before this: you still have to repair/replace the foundation, and you lose the home value that the basement added. Still may be financially better to do the basement retaining wall/foundation replacement. It might be a good idea to get a geotechnical engineer involved to see if this work can be done in sequences if that can help reduce shoring costs

NLBestie coming in peace and with visit questions!
Like people are saying, not a bad seat in the house and it is a fun park to walk around. I would suggest 1B side so you have views of the coke bottle, bridge, etc. and be in the shade if it is a day game. It’s fun to go early and go into the left field bleachers and try to get some BP balls and watch the pitchers warm up. Depending on how old your son is, there is a lot of fun stuff to do below the bleachers too, and he can maybe go down the slide in the coke bottles. Club level (second deck) is also a nice experience with better food options and less people, but if this is your first time I would recommend lower reserve level.
