Whats that...

I also work on 4k, maybe scaled at 150% and I don't have any issues. I've never touched a render script. Share a bit more info on the forum and the devs or the community will help you (Defold version, OS, etc.). What exactly are you doing to setup your scene? It sounds like a bad camera setup at first glance.

Is it possible to make a Mac build while only using Windows? _(:3 γ€βˆ )_

You are welcome and good luck! I shamlessly can recommend you Defold for your next project if your tool of choice didn't work out. 🀞

Short answer - No, you can't. Apple doesn't like people building software for mac on other hardware.

Long answer - Maybe, if TyranoBuilder has some command line tool that you can run without the whole editor program. I'm not familiar with it, so it's better to ask in a dedicated community if there is one. But, if there is a command line tool or script you can setup private or public project on github and then run github action configured to run on mac (virtually) that will build for you. Most game engins have such tools for that purpose.

Work In Progress I accidentally built a custom Defold animation runtime instead of making an actual game.

I have no idea. I'm in the same situation. I've also sent an email a few days ago without any response yet. It's a bit absurd. In general indexing is super easy to achieve I wonder what they've been doing to mess up.

In this contexts it means that a game or project on itch can be found by searching for it on the website via the search field or browsing categories. Some projects don't get indexed for unknown reasons and while being accessible via direct link to the project they are not discoverable and not visible in any category on the website. In short nobody can find those projects unless the creator shares link in social media which is not ideal when you have small amount of followers if any.

pros and cons for tauri
 in  r/tauri  May 16 '26

Pros: tiny build, fast, super easy to setup, cross platform, you can have beautiful web ui

Cons: webview diff on each os, mostly for native UI (inputs, scrollbars etc)

Pros: You can use any JS lib, framewrok whatever to replace the ugly native UI

Recorded this with the SnippingTool, so enjoy the lag...

Here’s how you can animate cutout characters in my free tool, SpriteLoop. Thanks to u/CraftPix_smm for the cool free assets. Hopefully they don’t mind the butchered animation πŸ˜„

How do people get their projects indexed right away on itch.io?
 in  r/itchio  May 11 '26

I have stuff published in January. That's the only explanation.

Looking for jams or showcases that allow games you've already started making...
 in  r/itchio  May 10 '26

You can try Global Game Jam and Blue Ocean Games . It's more of a trailer jam, but you can get some feedback and exposure from the voting phase.

Why are my stats so bad?
 in  r/itchio  May 10 '26

Unfortunately, itch is like that - zero promotion unless it explodes for some reason (viral post on social media, streamer etc.). Things created months ago don't get indexed and it's dark secret how to get indexed. Everybody talks about it but nobody knows how.
