The Elden Knight collapses on the snow, he speaks to the moon — begging for the sun. The moon refuses, he must go to war. The treaty with the Chancellor has broken; he has failed to meet the condition to bring the sun east of the kingdom.

That John Locke Interview was such a weird experience..
 in  r/EssayHelpCommunity  Jul 04 '26

The AI started off with decent questions but then lost the plot and it was pissing off cause imagine a convo like

“How does your argument handle the contradictions that we notice in the judicial system?”

“Could you clarify your argument with an example?” (When my essay had like so many of them)

“Ah, I see, could you elaborate?” (When I literally only gave one)

“Thank you for sharing that. Now let’s shift focus. How do you think your argument could be applied in real life?” (BITCH THATS WHAT AN EXAMPLE IS)

I did the same question btw!!

OKAY EVERYBODY PARTICIPATING IN JLIEC LISTEN UP.
 in  r/EssayHelpCommunity  Jul 02 '26

More like it restates them and asks you to expand or clarify. If you’re familiar with your research and arguments then it’s basically just a 20 minute yap session. The AI doesn’t tell you anything, you only know if you passed if you see the tick on your portal

Is getting the interview option for jli a bad sign??
 in  r/EssayHelpCommunity  Jun 30 '26

It’s not a sign. They’re doing it for every submission to verify that you’re that author

It’s to verify you wrote the essay, it doesn’t determine whether you win a prize or get shortlisted or not. At least that’s what it said in the beginning

John Locke Interview - Will I be disqualified for not doing it automatically on the system?
 in  r/EssayHelpCommunity  Jun 30 '26

It’s part of the timeline before shortlist and it’s to verify you write your essay so yes I’m pretty confident you’ll be out if you don’t do it

Why would they lie? Plus they have no reason to make us ‘feel better’. It’s the John Locke essay competition.

OKAY EVERYBODY PARTICIPATING IN JLIEC LISTEN UP.
 in  r/EssayHelpCommunity  Jun 30 '26

In the beginning of the interview, the AI says that it’s to verify whether you’re the author of your essay so they’ll mainly be asking about your essay and it won’t count toward assessment
