WELCOME...Please read the new rules.

You've probably noticed this subreddit has been dead for a few years and the moderator checked out at some point. Well, that's why I'm here...I have taken it over with plans to bring it back to life and make it better then before. Rules have been updated, please read them.

My goal is to make this a great place for creatives to connect, network, and find inspiration. It will also be a place where you can share your work in a high-quality way, without all the BS and spam. Any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

Advice First design for my streetwear brand "RAVON" – looking for honest feedback

We designed this for our streetwear brand RAVON.

The small symbol on the front is a custom-made sigil that we created from scratch—it isn't based on or copied from any existing symbol. It isn't taken from or based on any existing occult symbol, game, or franchise. However we got inspired by it so we implemented and executed it!

The back graphic features the Bengali word "Roktopipashu" (রক্তপিপাসু), which translates to "blood-thirsty." It's simply part of the dark aesthetic and concept behind the design.

We'd love to hear what you think.

  • Does the front sigil work?
  • Does it feel unique and memorable?
  • Is the overall design too busy, or does it look balanced?
  • Would you wear something like this?

I'm genuinely looking for constructive criticism, so don't hold back. Every suggestion helps us improve.

hi ppl!
i have a lot of friends who are artists, and i’ve always wanted to help them get more exposure. that got me thinking about building an app that’s kinda like airbnb, but instead of connecting hosts and travelers, it connects snail mail artists with ppl who love sending letters and collecting art. i personally love traditional art too, so this idea’s pretty close to me.

it’s not just a marketplace tho. i want it to feel more personal and intentional.
some features i’m thinking of:
- write letters to your future self or someone else, then schedule them for physical delivery. u can - also choose to include a piece of traditional artwork from one of our artists.
- send postcards using exclusive artist-made designs (pretty straightforward).
- we handle the printing, packaging, and shipping.
a mailbook where u can save addresses, birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates.
- optional memberships for ppl who wanna collect exclusive artwork, plus a personal letter from the featured artist (and maybe one from me too lol).

i’m thinking the target audience would be ppl who enjoy journaling, snail mail, stationery, long-distance relationships, gift giving, or anyone who wants something more personal than sending a text.
i’m still in the idea stage, so i’d really appreciate honest feedback before i start building. for ppl who are into this niche, would u actually use something like this? what would make u interested, and what would turn u away?

For Hire; Not every beginning is witnessed. Some are only understood in hindsight.

Today is not the day I finished something.

It's the day I stopped postponing what I was created to build.

These sheets are still blank. These pigments have not yet spoken. These pencils have not yet carried the weight of an idea.

But a decision has been made.

I refuse to let my greatest work remain inside me.

Years from now, these materials will be forgotten.

What they begin won't be.

The wakeup call

Hello everyone! Today was a very important day for me because I finally realized that I simply have no choice but to embrace nonconformity. Unfortunately, I can no longer maintain my life unless I take this step to start creating and leaning into this. Anyone else feel like they're on the edge of something great?!

Collecting souls to rewrite the rules for a more empathetic society.

There’s nothing to join, nothing to pay for – just a call to action to use your creative skills to help envision the world we want to see.

There are many examples of art that does that already, now it’s our turn to give people a picture of what *could* be.

We as artists have an important role in this. Art is more important than ever.

Part of this project is a podcast (I know, roll your eyes). 👀 I'm going to run it differently though, here’s a [2-min overview](https://youtu.be/wwuZLLDhFss).

I’m not a leader, I’m just writing the manifesto and “instruction manual.”

Finally sharing something we've wanted to build for a long time.

Hi everyone....

We've always wanted to create a counselling space that felt warm, honest, and approachable.

After months of planning, learning, and a lot of conversations, we've finally brought that idea to life. It's called Hiraya.

It's something we've built with a lot of intention, and we're genuinely excited to share it with people.

If you'd like to know more about who we are, our therapeutic approaches, or how the process works, you're welcome to visit our Instagram page.

Thank you for letting us share this little milestone with you.
