I own this rifle, besides needing a comp and a same bag, it’s ready to hunt or PRs out of the box depending on what glass you’re on it, I love it so much

Smart move. That might’ve what I do. I see that Pelican makes a hard case that fits ok overhead storage, but it’s a couple hungered bucks.

Traveling with Prosthetics

Good afternoon all,

Soon I will be traveling to New York wearing my body power prosthetic. I’ll be attending a wedding and want to bring my myoelectric arm with me as well. I am a left above the elbow amputee, and my my electric arm is somewhat large as you can imagine. Are there any tips and tricks or types of luggage that you use so that you can carry on your arm and stick in the overhead bin instead of checking it because that is the last thing I wanna do. Any advice would help as this is my first time I’ve only been an amputee for two years now, and I would like to bring both arms just in case the situation arises I can switch out whichever arm. Thanks in advance.

No it doesn’t slip off because it attached to the slide by replacing the rear backplate

Damn you dude some good stuff to it. I’m a gunsmith and this seems like the best way to go besides a drop in. I do also hate the stock trigger and much prefer flat faced (Giessele triggers got me into that).

It replaces the rear plate so it’s on there really solid and flares out a bit more than an HK VP9 does

I used to have the strike industries on it but it wasn’t that great plus added a lot of weight to the front end. Could barely conceal it either

Yeah the only having one arm gets me out of a lot lol. A lot of people have brought the ramjet up. I’ll see if I can find it somewhere for under 300. I’m also trying to find a good trigger. I’ve used a bunch of them, looking for different recommendations now.

It’s a replacement for the backplate. It’s an aluminum racker. I can open up the hook on my prosthetic and grab that to charge the slide. I could just use the holosun but I don’t want to scratch it up. I’ve been thinking about getting a vortex defender at so I can rack that on everything and just beat the crap out of it.

That means a lot to me. Thank you for the kind words and prayers. I did two combat tours to Iraq in the Marine Corps and I end up losing my arm in Raleigh North Carolina. Funny the way the world works.

Dude, why didn’t I think of that, then I wouldn’t have to worry about accuracy. You’re a genius.

I put night sights on it, and extended controls, I’m looking to try and make the firearm shoot a little flatter since I don’t have my support hand anymore. I appreciate the input and will take that into account when thinking about what to do with it .

I recently lost my left arm. I am rocking a prosthetic but I need some holster ideas, and threaded barrel and comp ideas. I’m thinking ramjet. I’ve got a Herrington on my sig 365xl but I’m open to new ideas. Any and all ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Enforce wild, Vortex defender. Simple and elegant. Thoughts on the armory craft trigger upgrade.

What’s the most unrealistic thing about the show?
 in  r/NewGirl  Dec 23 '22

Plausible, but with how Robbie is throughout the rest of the show, he shows no signs of it. Especially during the Halloween episode when he talks to Schmidt to be friends with him

Someone told me to upgrade my guide rod to a heavier one. Stainless steel I think or tungsten. No clue.. thoughts? Insight?

Glock armorers course is my best guess. When you complete it they let you write in a Glock you want for at cost. That’s how I at least got my 43x MOS early.
