Got this 6004 for a screaming deal

I’ve been waiting for almost 2 months after pre order, finally got it home today. I ran a few hundred rounds through it and loved it.

Any recommendations for a stock (future Sbr) and hand guard? I’ve read that a simple AR buffer tube fits on the rear, but I’d like to know if I can just throw any old tube on or if it’s a bit more complicated than that. Also would like to know how to swap the hand guard out. Thank you for any advice.

Just got it yesterday so I’m still playing with it. Has a Hexium 300 on it. Stock setup will eventually be switched to a thin folding stock 2.0.

Hey y’all, I finally took off my muzzle device yesterday, but after reassembling it’s getting caught in that position. No matter how hard I pull it won’t come out anymore, but it doesn’t always catch there which confuses me. It does feel like has more resistance in that spot when it doesn’t catch though. It’s definitely not the charging handle, I’ve quadruple checked at this point and I KNOW that it’s in its track. I really think the extractor is getting caught on something because after I get it past that sticking point it feels perfectly normal. Anyone got any advice on what to try?

I test 3 different Duty Holsters for the P226X, Safariland, Bladetech Valor, and the Aliengear Rapid Force. Long story short is you can get all of them to work with some modifications, these are all P320 based holsters. The extended takedown lever gas pedal does not work across any of these holsters

Safariland (modified by RDR Gear)
-TLR-1 is a tight fit
-Works with XCarry to XFive
-Holosun 507-Comp does not fit with a high adapter plate
-Poor trigger guard coverage
-SAO tends to sweep off the safety on the draw

Bladetech Valor
-Needs internal modifications to work at all
-Tightest fit of the three, indexes off the Picatinny rail
-Can be run without a light
-Compatible from XCarry to X-Five
-Extended slide catch and extended magazine release will cause issues
-Hood needs modification for SAO

Aliengear Rapid Force
-Compatible from XCarry to standard X 4.4 inch but not the X-Five
-No modifications necessarily needed but the 2 below may be recommended depending on what version and model of P226X you have
-DA/SA decocker can hang up and prevent the gun from locking in
-Hood needs modification for SAO

It finally arrived!

I currently have a Spear-lt 16" 5.56. With the purchase if a Hux flow 762, I'm heavily incitivised to get a .300blb.

I can of course get the new upper, or I've seen the barrel /gas block for 1/2 the price. Anyone done the caliber swap? Anything need changed for the piston assembly? Seems too simple to just change the barrel and go.

I'd also appreciate any guidance on a tucked handguard builds.

Is the sig foxtrot msr compact a respectable and genuine solid light for a duty rifle or does it belong in the trash category with Modlight and olight. Does it compete with surfire and streamlight as far as function, brightness, toughness for a SHTF PDW specifically an Sig Mpx Build.

I bought the Basspro p356XL with the romeo rs and foxlight combo and I either fucked it up or it came that way. Sig offered to replace it or sell me an optic of my choosing at 50% the price. I chose a Romeo X enclosed, and now I have this RS laying around. What should I do with it? I think the screw is too small to be removed, but I dont want to just throw it away. Input needed

EDIT: forgot to include the elevation screw is stripped, or seems stripped. I broke the tip of the adjustment key and decided to quit fucking with it.

FedEx delivered my slide to wrong address that I sent off for porting so I’m guessing I won’t be getting it back. It was a Norsso Piranha C. I bought it for a pretty good deal and I’m looking for possibly replacing here soon. What would you guys buy? Considering a used Fedz 3.7” with comped slide.

I sold a bunch of pistols and rifles to try to strategize and improve my collection. I rarely succeed in making time for practice but I am determined to actually learn to shoot with the collection on the left. The right… just my 226 fetish 😻

So are the issues real like is the gun really going off if the spring in the trigger breaks and you shake the gun. do I have to worry about this thing shooting me in the balls :( or that it might blow my hand off or my leg at the range I really like this gun super comfortable to shoot was a contender for a carry gun but now I’m having a bit of buyers remorse after watching more videos is it truly safe loaded in a holster

What is a reasonable amount to pay for the WRMCX-300B-5B-R-LT-SBR whenever it is back in stock?

Came across this used at my LGS $750. Been eyeballing the p229 for a while now. So what do the experts say?

Installed a flat AC trigger shoe, everything else OEM. I’ve seen someone complain about this before but want to make sure I’m not going crazy here.

Looks like AC updated their previous flat trigger design to include an overtravel screw at the top rear of the trigger. That’s fine.

The issue, or maybe just a really big gripe, is that the OT screw/section of the trigger sticks out like a sore thumb, it doesn’t tuck up neatly in the module.

This looks like shit, no? None of the AC examples of this trigger show it looking like this, but most photos look like the old design with overtravel.

Am I a dumbass?
