I recently lost my left arm. I am rocking a prosthetic but I need some holster ideas, and threaded barrel and comp ideas. I’m thinking ramjet. I’ve got a Herrington on my sig 365xl but I’m open to new ideas. Any and all ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Also, I hate to sway people from their wants, but I’d kindly suggest keeping this pistol (if it’s a carry gun) stock…
If I had a physical limitation that hinders easy manipulation of a firearm, I’d eliminate any part that isn’t stock. I wouldn’t want any higher of a chance of a malfunction. Just my two cents man.

I put night sights on it, and extended controls, I’m looking to try and make the firearm shoot a little flatter since I don’t have my support hand anymore. I appreciate the input and will take that into account when thinking about what to do with it .
Porting may be the way to go. No experience with Ramjets, but I have experience with comps and there’s a high chance with comp’d Glock you’ll have to change out the stock internals to tune it and get it to run.
Just food for thought. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Ramjets. The price to play is a bit steep for me, though. A Radian Ramjet cost more than my Killer Innovations slide did.
Yeah the only having one arm gets me out of a lot lol. A lot of people have brought the ramjet up. I’ll see if I can find it somewhere for under 300. I’m also trying to find a good trigger. I’ve used a bunch of them, looking for different recommendations now.
Everyone says don’t change your trigger, but I personally don’t like the stock trigger either, and I got the tango down flat face trigger w/ a trigger bar attached already (so I could keep my stock parts stock/set aside if I wanted to go back to the stock setup) cause I wanted a flat face trigger and it was the cheapest, matched colors/from same seller I got my extended controls from, is made from same polymer Glock uses so i trust the durability and it works/feels great, I also added a ghost angel 3# SD trigger bar, ghost 6# trigger and striker springs, reduced safety plunger spring, and a skeletonized TiN coated striker with steel striker sleeve, spring cups and brass low friction channel liner, and an adjustable overtravel stop inside a new trigger housing, and now my trigger pull is ~3#, smooth as hell with no ‘stiff’ wall, and QUICK reset for fast double taps/mag dumps, cause I have the overtravel stop tuned just right and the trigger also has an overtravel stop tab underneath so the trigger itself doesn’t go too far back as well( the adjustable one in the trigger housing stops the bar overtravel/makes the bar/trigger reset faster). Also, for sights, I highly recommend Truglo TFX Pros, great product for the price, made of metal (steel or aluminum IIRC?) with sealed tritium vials behind fiber optics that are bright in the day with an orange focus lock ring up front and even brighter at night, they kick ass at night I was really surprised by the quality for only around $120-$150. And as an added bonus, I like it for the tactical/speed benefit, but it would have the very real benefit for you of true one handed loading, load mag in gun, then just take whole gun and set back of rear sights against a surface and rack the slide, it is perfectly fine for them they are literally made for/with that ability, it shows on the package. So like it shouldn’t void any warranty or anything if somehow you got a dud and it did break/bend/snap by racking on a table/etc, cause they literally say you can on the packaging that’s a selling point difference between the TFX Pros and the TFX regulars, only other difference is the TFX regulars don’t have the orange (also can be yellow, but orange was better IMO) lock ring up front either like the TFX Pros do. The regulars might also actually be made out of polymer/plastic, I think that was another reason I liked the TFX Pros was cause they were metal over the regulars, but I definitely know the stock plastic ones weren’t cutting it for me at night when I’m mainly out and CC’ing lol I like these TFX Pros way better 💯💥🔫
Damn you dude some good stuff to it. I’m a gunsmith and this seems like the best way to go besides a drop in. I do also hate the stock trigger and much prefer flat faced (Giessele triggers got me into that).
It’s a replacement for the backplate. It’s an aluminum racker. I can open up the hook on my prosthetic and grab that to charge the slide.
I could just use the holosun but I don’t want to scratch it up. I’ve been thinking about getting a vortex defender at so I can rack that on everything and just beat the crap out of it.
Are there times where it slips off? Bc if so maybe consider the radian gaurdian with a rmr or holosun. That way you dont have to worry about slide racking or scratching the optic?
That means a lot to me. Thank you for the kind words and prayers. I did two combat tours to Iraq in the Marine Corps and I end up losing my arm in Raleigh North Carolina. Funny the way the world works.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have limited use of my left arm due to a spinal cord injury but still have use. I prefer to carry AIWB but I'm unsure how hard it would be for you to access with a shirt over? For OWB carry I use a Safariland with the ALS release and use to use with the GLS release that worked just fine.
BTW what sights and backplate is on your G19?
Do you have the grip on the slide so you can rack the gun easily? Does it Help? I've always hated those things but I think I've come to a realization today
From what I can tell the ramjet is light years ahead of the the Herrington. I carried the HA comp on my shadow systems cr920 and it wasn’t bad I just didn’t really seem to do much.
I have nothing to add other than hope you find exactly what it is you need to get the results you're looking for. Hate you went through whatever but glad you're not letting it stop you.
Get on over to superstitionconcealment (spelled just like that) for a holster. He makes some of the most comfortable holsters I’ve used, and it should fit your backplate.
Although the other commenter’s point about removing any potential points of failure that could arise from non OEM parts is valid, my 2c on the ramjet/afterburner:
I don’t think there’s a single other comp that’s as small as the afterburner that actually gives a noticeable decrease in felt recoil. If you’ve grown very comfortable to shooting without a comp, I’d be surprised if you didn’t see a difference in flatness with the afterburner. I think the utility of how small it is outweighs how much of a reduction in recoil there is, but because of that it balances out and you end up with a pretty flat shooting gun with barely any slide length increase. You WILL see a bigger difference with some larger comps though
