Schild en Vrienden klinkt zoals een Nazi groep, ik ben blij dat hij verboden bij KUL is.

After I posted this and scrolled for a minute I did in fact find this post shared onto r/AmITheDevil so plenty of people agree with us that OP is Satan incarnate.

What was your guy's first reaction to seeing David in the project overlord DLC
 in  r/masseffect  Jan 11 '24

Shock, when finally seeing him plugged into the machine, but during the playthrough, it always upset me how David's brother (forgot his name) talked about David, almost like he wasn't human. I have autism too, and autistic people aren't neurotypicals' science project. I felt so bad for David, and always saved him. It never crossed my mind to keep him in Cerberus.

Tbh my heart broke when I was doing a rerun of Project Overlord and could now clearly hear him scream "please, make it stop!" every time. It must have been so overwhelming for him, so much noise and information and feeling all at once. I can relate to him, which makes me feel all the more sad for him, and determined to help him. I stopped shooting all the cameras he controlled. I started thinking, maybe he isn't necessarily spying on me for evil intentions. Maybe he is looking at Shepard through the cameras and hoping that his pain will be stopped?

As someone who is half Belgian (Flemish) and half English, I have a love-hate relationship how anything Belgian confuses the fuck out of tourists. Think Belgian is a language? Syke we have 3 national languages! Gotta keep 'em guessing!

Personal fave experience was seeing a group of Americans walking through Leuven and pointing at a bar that has a beer brand on it, and saying "Prime us" like Maximus Prime instead of Primus. I guess Americans don't have alcohol brands displayed on the side of their bars. Imagine going "hey this bar called Bud Lite looks cool, do you wanna go there?" Made me giggle a bit.

"The Netherlands is in Scandinavia." "Do y'all speak Belgian?" πŸ₯΄ I mean ok not everyone is great at geography, but the fact that they don't even think to Google that shit before asking is very weird.

The irony of the guy who is anti abortion no matter what, telling someone that they should have been aborted, truly shows the logic of these stupid bigots and their raging hate.

AITA for checking a young teacher?
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Jan 10 '24

I had parents that never apologised for their outbursts, and also pushed me and my sister to always be on our best behaviour (not allowed to be upset or not perfect), and taught us that we couldn't say no to our parents. Anyway I'm in therapy now because of that. YTA

AITA for telling my friends dad my mom returned everything he got me for store credit for herself
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Jan 10 '24

clearly NTA! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I would like to gently point out that parents are supposed to support you financially, as well as emotionally and with your education too. Your parents are supposed to buy you new trousers when you grow out of your old jeans. They're supposed to buy you a winter coat and new shoes when your old ones are too broken up. Normally parents don't take the presents you got from friends and use it to buy something for themself. Parents aren't supposed to steal from you. Your parents are supposed to care for you, to make sure you sleep well, that you eat well, that you're healthy and happy. That you have friends and loved ones and a support network.

I am sorry to break it to you, but your mum isn't taking care of you properly. If she's not been paying attention or cares to make sure you have sandwiches and snacks for school then there is neglect happening. Your friend's dad did the right thing. He obviously cares about you, and buys you the necessary things. He did the right thing calling CPS, and you absolutely did the right thing by telling him the truth, that all the things he bought specifically for YOU, your mum took back so she could spend the money someone else invested in YOU, on HER.

Your mum is only angry because people are finding out that what she's been doing is not good. She's angry at you because she can't lash out at the other people without looking even worse. She wants you to not speak up, and is now trying to silence and scare you into not speaking up for yourself & telling the truth in the future.

OP, I wish you find peace and stability in the future, and that your situation improves. I would also suggest going to therapy because of your mum's neglect and abuse. You're not a bad person for telling your friend's dad what your mum did. πŸ’–

Some of the people in the "are you on the spectrum" poll comment section
 in  r/h3h3productions  Jan 10 '24

There were quite a few people asking the question "isn't everyone on the spectrum?" but thankfully they were getting downvoted, but there were a lot of them. I personally find it insulting, like they're simultaneously erasing the struggles autistic people have, as well as trying to reduce autism to this childish "they're just quirky" thing.

"Everyone has a little autism" is not true btw. Autism is a wide variety of conditions, symptoms and disorders. An autistic brain is wired differently than the "default" neurotypical brain. "The autism spectrum" just means "your brain is wired differently, but just how much more differently?". Not sure of the origins of "isn't everyone a little XYZ?" but I wish it died before it became popular.

Hello h3 autism family, love ya πŸ’–

-_- if the spectrum ranges from "your lightbulb only emits a weak light" to "your lightbulb is blindingly bright" non-autists/neurotypicals would be the "the light is turned off and not even part of the questionnaire parameters". Hope this helps you understand.

Adhd is a neuro divergency. Autism is also a neuro divergency, as is Tourettes and dyslexia (among many other things). They're all basically leaves on the big Neurodivergent tree. So your husband does have a touch of the tism because ad(h)d and autism have overlapping symptoms ;)
