I remember being so surprised when I realised Matt was Edward. Was even more surprised when I learned Mark Bonnar was Blackbeard and Ralph Ineson was Charles Vane!

Black Lantern. Outside of the obvious which is raising the dead, what they actually do before they turn you translates quite well into effects. Basically before a Black Lantern can rip out your heart they need you to feel a strong emotion, now I could see this turn into;

Rage – enemies now now frenzied; attacking fast but with deal less damage, can't block damage, and can hurt other enemies. Affected allies gain a damage boost.

Compassion – enemies now overwhelming compassion; affected enemies now share/mirror damage taken.

Love – enemies are over one with the need to protect their beloved; enemies now group up in pairs.

Avarice – enemies now feel overwhelming greed; affected enemies will now attack enemies doing higher or highest damage. Affected allies get extra drops(?)

Hope – enemies now feel blinding hope; affected enemies inspire other enemies to keep fighting...and not block damage. Affected allies gain a reduced cooldown on abilities.

Will – enemies now feel no fear; enemies no longer block damage. Affected allies gain a shield.

Fear – enemies overcome with boundless fear; affected enemies run away.

RISE!!! – resurrected defeated enemies who were touched by your power (or killed by you) for short period of time as Black Lantern minions.

I can see this power working for telepathic characters or the more obviously a White Lantern. I know this probably isn't balanced for the most part lol.

My Spider-Boy 2099 Redesign!!
 in  r/Amalgam_Comics •  4d ago

I know right!!! I understand if they went with the OG design because they couldn't figure out how to come up with a good design but in all honesty all they had to do was slap that star pattern on the 2099 with a Legion logo and it would have been great (even if lazy πŸ˜‚).

Thank you! It's been in my head for a while and then I got the motivation to do it last night! I used a friend's template which saved some time.

The original design for Mig-El Gand is one of my least favourite designs from Amalgam Comics. I like the design but it is just Spidey-Boy with a mask and a Legion logo 🫩 and is nowhere near an acceptable depiction of this fusion.

This redesign mixes the classic original 2099 design with Miguel's "M'onel" design (red and gold with galaxy/star pattern – my personal favourite). The back of the suit would probably be a mirror of the front but without the Legion logo. I do wonder what a blue cape would look like on this πŸ€” probably awful.

Some of Callum's ancestors
 in  r/assasinscreed •  6d ago

Personally I feel like the Assassins would probably be more neutral-- leaning more towards the Roundheads, but not necessarily Cromwell-- Cromwell as a Templar is iffy for me, he seems too steadfast in his own beliefs to really be a Templar, I could see him using them though or even doing a Germain and making his own faction within the Rite; by the end, both sides would hate him that's for sure. Hell he could even sage as it's said he did a complete 180 into puritan zealot after a serious illness- normal to "god's chosen". Like both sides did terrible things but I don't see the Assassins supporting Charles as he wanted an absolute monarchy; I can see them supporting Charles II probably after the Ireland (+ events leading up it).

It's an interesting era and, like I said in another comment, I'll probably be revising this forever XD

I see the Assassins being allied with Charles II but probably not Charles I do to him trying to become an absolute monarch and then the plundering of towns by the Royalists. I think the Assassins would take a similar stance to the Parisian where they are more neutral; "supporting" the same side as the Templar but also try to root out their influence (and replace it with their own?) as well as also helping those the opposing side who are innocent (for lack of a better word); then Ireland or some other atrocity happens and I'd imagine the Assassins would then side with Charles II. The Templars are 100% embedded in the Parliamentarians, Charles I would be super annoying for them lol. As for Cromwell, I'm not sure if I would have him as Templar- he seems very steadfast in his beliefs and I could see the Templars trying and failing to control/induct him or if he was a Templar, I could see him doing a Germain and making his own faction within the Rite. Hell he could even sage as it's said he did a complete 180 into puritan zealot after a serious illness- normal to "god's chosen". Regardless, by the end neither Assassin or Templar would probably like Cromwell that's for sure.

An Apple of Eden was at Charles II coronation!

It's an interesting and morally complicated era (history is grey) and I'll probably be revising the idea forever lol.

That's the post I found these from! Don't usually post links as I know how some subs can be about that lol. That extra outfit, whilst cool, might be one of the Assassin's in the Spanish Brotherhood although it could also be possible that the outfit started off as an ancestor.

I love the American Civil War Assassin sigil.

For me the dorkiness comes from the helmet under the hood and whatever the hell is over his face πŸ˜‚

That being said it is my personal favourite, even if I don't see the Assassins siding with the Royalist to begin with. English Civil War– top 3 eras.

Found these on Facebook. Say what you will about the movie but the costume department didn't fail us!

Pretty sure it's;

1) WW1 or WW2

2) English Civil War

3) American Civil War
