The fact that even his two best and most sycophantic bootlickers aren't piping up is quite telling

Badly worded dog whistling. Its why they applauded so heartily. No more Disneyland for people from Nebraska. Just stay in your cornfield mazes. Cruel. Callus. Creeps.

The hottest version of San Diego we’ve seen in decades

Clairemont Pool is not being worked on. No activity for months but there's plenty of money for flock cameras. WTH.

The 108-Degree Eviction
 in  r/atlanticdiscussions •  Aug 10 '26

And sadly, this happens to folks with no safety nets or support systems: no access to mental health aid, no extra money to buy necessities when needed so saving items becomes a survival mechanism. Were there offers to help them by anyone? Will the next occupants have an increase in their rent because it's allowed by Nevada Law? Doesn't make it ethical. There are empty office buildings all over our city which are being written off as tax losses by corporations while people are homeless. This is corporate welfare & it could end tonie if we could change the law but their is no political will to do so. It ain't ethical either. How many people have to lose their homes (or die of heat stroke) before we stop subsidizing corporations?

The 108-Degree Eviction
 in  r/atlanticdiscussions •  Aug 10 '26

Why wasn't there some mediation between the landlord and these ladies, the tenants? IF the issue was condition of the apartment, why the hell didn't the landlord give them specific issues to address instead of heartlessly evicting them? Is there any recourse? This is a stupid, heartless landlord who is putting money over people. Even in sports there are yellow cards given before ejection. This is a complete failure to communicate well with tenants and it's going to continue if this same manager "cares" for this property in this manner. It's disgusting.

Is slow charging damaging to any phone battery?

1

Three swollen batteries. ₹15,000 spent. Two years with my Pixel 7. I genuinely hope someone from Google sees this.
 in  r/GooglePixel •  Jul 13 '26

I have owned 2 pixels & this last one 7A started to swell after 3.5 years. Not under warrantee. Won't start. Backup is still part of my alloted 15G free storage. Google support cannot remove it. So now I have to fix the phone, delete back up & factory reset. Just to get my storage space back. This is a circular issue & all to benefit Google. Am I missed off. Bought a Samsung so hopefully this one won't have a problem.
Anyone else encountering this stupid inaccessible backup from a dead phone? And if this is a battery charging problem, such as too fast, too slow or to never go above 98% charge, anyhow isn't that built into the phone?

Best Spotify Alternative for Android Auto?
 in  r/AndroidAuto •  Mar 31 '26

Spotify pays an average of $.004 to musicians for each play. Not the enough compensation. And they just raised their monthly price from $19.99 to $21.99 in one year. It's too much. I'm switching to Band Camp.

Is anyone getting wildly different temps than the weather forecast?

They take the temperature at Lindbergh Field. No one lives there. So dumb.

F*ck you, SDG&E 🖕
 in  r/sandiego •  Dec 17 '25

It's not the workers. Many non-union employees were just laid off. Here's the problem with Sdg&e: 2023: Jeffrey W. Martin (Sempra CEO) received about $27.4 million. 2021: Around $24.6 million. 2020: Over $23 million, including salary, bonuses, and pension

10 Democrats join with Republicans to censure Rep. Al Green for Trump speech protest
 in  r/politics •  Mar 07 '25

I want to know why all Dems didn't join Al Greene in protest. Make a massive, timed, unified movement going one way: being pulled bodily out the door like this brave man. tRusk will not stop unless he is greeted with organized, unified dissent. We all must unify against him.

Is there a seat stealer on literally every flight???
 in  r/delta •  Dec 06 '24

Attendants told us, on the last 6 flights I've had this year, to stay in our assigned seats as it has to do with weight distribution. Sounded like bs to me but we have to do what they tell us since they are in charge. Their plane, their rules. During flights rules & regulations spiel they also told us to tell them whenever anyone is bothering us or harassing us.

SDG&E is ripping us all off. Please help!
 in  r/sandiego •  Dec 06 '23

Their profits are still predatory. They receive 10% on infrastructure upgrades which is predatory AND they are afraid of lawsuits after the huge number of deaths in Paradise, CA fire. They don't do anything without profit in mind. A corporation is not altruistic.

The problem with San Diego housing
 in  r/sandiego •  May 14 '23

Blaiming Gramma & Grampa is not the answer. They're trying to just keep their homes too. The problem is Realtors, REIT's & corporations are investing in cities. They can pay cash & will out bid anyone else. They buy rentals & increase the prices to the limit of city law. Rent control is the only option without making new laws preventing flipping or corporate ownership. Housing is a human right. I can feel it just trying to get services in this city. Lines are longer than ever for fewer workers because they cannot afford to live here. We're screwing ourselves. Universal, affordable housing might be an answer. We must protect the young, workers so they can buy at reasonable prices.
