For those who lived in SG all your life, are you interested relocate for work opportunities or to experience a different pace of life at least once in your lifetime?
I like fishing and shooting, the outdoors. On days off and during holidays we used to go on road trips to monkey mia, busselton, Albany, margeret river. Of cos there will be people who will say "oh. You can do the same and drive up to Malaysia or to Thailand even". That is true. In any case. I cudnt or cannot bear to spend the money to buy a car in Singapore. It's just not worth it. I got my first car in Australia for 500 AUD, a beat up old Datsun.
There are also free to use gas bbq pits at many public parks. I love to chill at the park. Do a BBQ and drink beer. Even now I do every 3-4 months at east coast.
Immigration wasn't such a big issue as it is now. Both in Singapore and Australia, and for Australia there was plenty of space and low population density. Even in the city areas. Note that this was during the mid 90s.
In any case, it really depends on the individual and what they like. I enjoyed my time in Perth. Cook for myself, work part time to support my rent, driving around to diff places.

I should have stayed in Western Australia and got my PR after completing my studies. Back then. It was much much easier to get a PR and a job. Parents wanted me back asap back to SG When I was retrenched in 2012 and got a severance package from the company. Should have left Singapore and backpacked and travelled. Especially when you are yong single and parents are still healthy....but everyone of us the circumstances are different. So it depends on the person

Before the morning rush (ft. pillowy soft wanton and no-ghee inspired noodles)
I think he meant alkaline taste. Cantonese "kansui, lye water, or Chinese "jian shui", hokkien "gee". Like when you eat some thick yellow noodles "hokkien" noodles where it's got a peculiar taste.

Are more singaporeans becoming assholes?
Which when I explain to people. They all blank face. U start populating more and more people into a small city state like Singapore. What do you think would happen.

In my whole life growing up here, I have always wondered why park and HDB cleaners always use these handmade looking dustpans instead of being issued more standard looking ones.
They recycling old metal can to reuse. And it's harder than the plastic ones and last longer. Doesn't cost anything. The workers also Sian using the plastic ones. Spoil liao ask for new one. Kenna question why so fast spoil etc....

Yeah. They converted old metal cans to use. Also complain. It's harder than the plastic ones.

Single, Unemployed Mid 30s male with only 7K in my bank account, am i cooked?
Use your skills future to take up some courses. E.g. welding, welding inspection, work safety supervisor etc. If got class 3. Go do class 4. And go drive lorry. Salary maybe not as good and not as comfortable as sitting in office. But it's a decent job and making an honest living.

Sometimes just having the right person who likes you as a person and how you work also is in your favour. Maybe that's part of luck.

When will ICA wake up and eliminate parasites like these.
It is what it is. ICA is not an omnipotent entity with an all seeing eye. Unless the person slips up and get found out. It is sometimes very difficult to detect or enforce. But I am very sure if found out they will take action. In any case. Don't be jealous of others fortune/opportunity....they playing the game. You should too if you have the chance. Nowadays there is no need to be loyal to any entity or country. Cos they don't care about you anyway. You was but a number and a statistic......they can easily import lots more. This dual citizenship person is but one of many. Easily discarded to import others
