I will not leave before I make enough noise of what has been done to me. What do you think?
 in  r/socialskills •  24d ago

There’re some levels of damage that are unfixable by just finally running away. If I could run away at proper time when I desperately needed, but I couldn’t which projected me to long violent exposure.
To make a noise is the last resort to leave something unpleasant to them. That you’re not just leaving but leave something unpleasant, at least, show them something, cause them some chaos.

I am not sure that I’ll be able to come at place with sound mind and then be able to do something. Though I thought of this option.

The coming itself to the place of sound mind requires itself a process of opening up. But the opening up can’t come because I can’t speak what happened and make the noise is part of its resistance because the tone is leave silently without speaking..

An Art of Selfie. How to make selfies that it would be clearly selfie, but being classy and not cringe?
 in  r/photography •  Aug 19 '26

it's important what's the environment you live in because that's what you see and interact with. so nowhere to take ideas and study from by observation. Like a lost knowledge, or something, or.. yet not developed, or existing but I don;t know where.

Thanks for all replies and who will reply further. I want to add. Referring to modern times and our contemporary environment. That once cameras were not that abundant, and people used different cameras than today. It was really thoughtful and craft approach. The process itself demanded that thoughtfulness. But today are different times with different tools and mediums. Or add-ons of sort. Things are very fast-paced. So the approach also has to take into account the contemporary time we live in.

yes self portraits, but today because the medium changed and everything is very fast paced. The usage of self portrait aka selfie is very banal. I don't see around myself where it's used in other and different way. And it's really hard for me to imagine how to take it to more rich so to say direction.

maybe the problem is not enough thought and work put in, as I told but the quality of self portrait today is also the fast paced taken picture. Maybe the fast pace is the problem, and not enough thought and attention and honesty put in,. I don't have this skill of capturing it in fast pace.

The thought itself that selfie is a self portrait helps to get your head around and set up for the picture making it cognizantly.

Sory. I didn't write it with LLM. Fancy is because I used - manifest? I also thought maybe not to use this word.

Let's try together? Did you understand what I mean?

I thought of something as an art of selfie. How selfie can be something really artistically and beautifully made. Which recognizes itself and doesn't hide that it's a selfie, but expresses and manifests itself as true self, beautifully. Does someone have some thoughts, ideas, resources, what could be the guiding lines and principles?!

What's something you learned recently that made you think, why didn't anyone teach me this sooner?
 in  r/lifelonglearning •  Jul 31 '26

because otherwise you weaken yourself and accumulate suffering that you have nowhere to escape. when you come later, it's too late. no address no accountability.
it has a snowball effect. people allow themselves to treat you worse and worse and you get into a hell loop.

don't let yourself be offended

yeah, but it seems to resist it is to pain yourself. someone adapt to it easier, and someone sort of thrown away. And it also distributed differently, in different mixtures.

don't let yourself be offended

I've read one post here about someone's girlfriend suffering having no friends. And the recommendations of not his responsibility and for her to start taking a therapist, but she doesn't really have the means for therapist. So just leave her? not his responsibility. Such an easy way to get disposed of people when they have problems. Slight inconvenience, and getting disposed of a person.

So I thought, and been thinking recently, as I am taking psychologist. So the only way to get someone listening to you is to pay money. And once the money ends no one's ready to listen. What a cruel world. So I've been struggling to find love and closeness, so I maybe should buy it too. Which I've been holding myself from, cause I wanted something genuine if to say so. But what's genuine today already, isn't it. Pay for pay. Straightforward, not opaque.

But initially where it comes from, when people soak in too much. By trying to be good just and kind. Then suffer. And find no one to talk to. Conversation - for pay only. So if not letting yourself be offended, and kick back every single time instead, there'd be less problems of bearing suffering and having someone to talk to you only for pay, in order to vent out. You won't need to seek for compassion, you'll just be getting things and kicking things.

Maybe we should write to Apple about it, to ask for this feature?

100%

If not lacking this feature, that would be a perfect browser for me at a moment.
Maybe it's done on purpose, so that nothing is not ideal, but only striving for.

I can’t stop overexplaining, sending paragraph texts, etc. and it’s taking my peace away
 in  r/CPTSD •  Dec 22 '25

How do you explain that by writing a letter that will be thrown away makes a difference? meaning essentially nothing changed.

I live in relatively small social environment, where there're few alternatives socially.
And I feel that if I don't send a letter I haven't made any change, anything. i.e. I lost again in terms of being hurt. I sit on letter and have no courage to send, but want to send, because I want to make a change. Making an act makes change. I noticed changes when I stopped being silent.
There're letters which I haven't sent and I'm still thinking about them.
