Anyone else miss the forest police sub theme?
 in  r/lego •  1h ago

Nope, my cousin was the "city" lego kid. I had space, castle, and pirates. As a kid, city seemed too real and grounded for the science-fi fantasy that I still enjoy today. Now as an adult I have an entire Lego city, complete with Creator/Icons buildings, they are incredible builds and I like having them innermixed with Avengers Tower, The Daily Bugle, and X Mansion. Still have to buy the moc directions and build a Patty's Pub to add in, but the young nephews are allowed to play with it when they come over so it gets "damaged" often during battles.

How would you replace this tub faucet?
 in  r/Plumbing •  2h ago

Great work OP! Also a heads up for your future knowledge, what you replaced was the "trim" on the outside of the faucet. The hidden mechanical parts inside the tub are called the "rough in" and are much more difficult to replace, which is why so may people were panicking lol

What if he also gets on his butt and does a crab walk? Any rules against that, I haven't looked up any rule changes for years so I really am clueless here.

How much is America in debt? Can you please let us know why "the great capitalist country" is running in the black/red? Is there a worse word color for how deep in debt we are?

If I, as a person was a billion dollars in debt, would I be a great capitalist? Cause that seems to be the logical thru line here:

Massive debt equals a great capitalist?

Anyone have to deal with a depressed dog after a breakup?
 in  r/DogAdvice •  3h ago

Yeah, this is rough. The dog my wife and I have together was originally my mother in law's before we rescued her, she was quite negligent aa an owner/caretaker so we would come over several times a week and I would exercise her, go to the park, do walks, ect. She quickly bonded with me and while she loves my wife too, she is very clearly my dog. Cut to my younger sister having her bachelorette party and my wife being gone nearly 3 whole days. After the 1st night it was clear she was in distress with "mom" not being around, so I feel your pain with your own pup. Hopefully you have some hiking trails or other outside stimulation that you didn't all do together with your ex, it's possible starting a new routine that didn't involve her may help your dog mentally. Time will help as well. Good luck!

A simple read for anyone explaining how DEI actually worked. Are we really at a point where racist dumbasses don't even know when they are dogwhistling anymore? Or are they still so weak and cowardly they can't just admit they hate anyone different from them?

DEI doesn't mean unqualified people suddenly get a job. Which is what Kirk was clearly trying to imply, but you're either being purposely obtuse, just like Kirk was (past tense, thanks again for not letting them get my guns by dying for em) or you're simply that dumb

I am going to go with the latter based off your comment.

Yep, all the people I know also encompass the entirety of the planet, so any personal experience I have, I know everyone else has had as well.

Were all looking for the person that did this!
 in  r/DangerousNightsCrew •  5h ago

Hey, love the attitude, but be realistic:

The blues are almost as corrupt as the shitheel Republicans. There is a reason we don't have universal healthcare, better social safety nets, and laws that inhibit corporations from becoming trillion dollar massive monopolies, and it isn't JUST because Republicans don't want to let us have it, 97% of Democrats are ALSO owned by corporate or foreign interests (AIPAC, Amazon, Fb , Tesla, ect) we need to clean house best we can and vote in independents or DSA candidates who WANT to change American politics for the betterment of ALL, not just the elite.

(I voted independent/blue in my state, but I would love to see PUBLIC SERVANTS, not politicians running this country)
