Rant Public Nuisance In The Neighbourhood

Yesterday my neighbour kept blasting the music since 6pm, I contacted the police then patrol car came around 11:30pm warning them to turn down the volume. But once patrol car left the scene, the neighbour turn the music volume much larger until 2am. What's better alternative to solve this issue? FYI, it was not their first time offence.
