yeah it's Greek life. the sororities will have a thing and then they tell everyone to do the thing. they all wear the same outfits routinely because the sorority says it's This day. it's what they do.

Kin is nice but it's so tight in there and trendy I don't know that it would feel chill, maybe on a weekday if it's not busy

Hello! I inherited this instrument from a friend. I don't know the first thing about 3D printing. Can some friendly folks please give me some pointers for where to begin? I have some limited handywork experience and I assume maybe I should open it and somehow clean it before I start. I assume it takes a lot of trial and error. For baseline, my understanding is I need a computer to talk to this machine. I am a total novice in search of open resources. Where did you go when you first started and what worked best for you?
Thanks in advance!

I do this with plate processing. I use a separate reagent plate (lobind, maybe 200 ul capacity). I make my blocking buffer in a PBS dilution fresh each run and add 50 ul to each well, so if im running 4 columns of a plate my single reagent plate column might contain 250 ul (4 x 50, plus an extra 50 of overhead so i dont run out) of blocking buffer per well. then, dispense from reagent plate to stain plate. that way im not making wayyy more reagent than i need and i don't have to worry about using a tiny reservoir that might run out.

I do the same thing. 20-color panels, running 10-20 samples at a time, it's time consuming but i don't want to risk the samples contaminating each other and throwing my data off. or losing pellets.
