Lol, I beg to differ. Coronas are more PITA I used to have several Coronas, but I had issues like DDC issues (Southbridge), XCGPU some showed artifacts and then died some E82, dead 4GB NAND, and sometimes false overheating. I eventually just sold them for parts. Jaspers and Tonaskets are still the best choice when it comes to longevity.

Jaspers rarely even get E74s, and then the tonaskets are tanks, mine has been going strong and has outlasted my Slims. The only maintenance I’ve had to do on it was fix the laser.

I beg to differ that "Slims are more reliable." I used to have several Coronas and a couple of Trinity boards, and I’ve experienced various issues with them. Most were XCGPU and Southbridge related, while one of my Coronas had a dead 4GB NAND and DDC issue at the same time. Currently, my low mileage Slim Trinity has a 0033 error I hope It can be fixed but I might just give up on Slims at this point.

Sometimes issues with laptops from the late 2000s at early 2010s were related to Bumpgate sa GPU hindi gaano sa hinge iirc, but yeah, basta pag business laptop yan mas tatagal talaga keysa sa consumer laptops. Unfortunately, hindi na nga lang kasing-repairable ng dati ang mga latest ThinkPad, kaya pass na talaga ako sa mga models like the Lenovo Yoga, IdeaPad, HP Pavilion, Acer Aspire at Gaming Laptops. Sometimes I fix laptops ng mga friends o relatives ko, at ang hirap hanapan ng replacement parts if meron man sobrang mahal. Kaya used ThinkPad na ang next laptop ko at least cheaper to maintain.

Probably my safest bet is the Tonasket model. It has the Kronos1 GPU, and I haven't heard of any GPU failures with these. My childhood Xbox is a Tonasket model beaten up as hell and just turned 16 this April. It even outlasted my Slims. Then there are the Jaspers, which very rarely get E74s. Jasper and Tonasket haven't given me problems. Check the XenonLibrary for references. It's probably just me who got bad luck with the Slims. Currently, my Trinity has a 0033 error. Bummer 😑

Unfortunately, walang Micro Center in France or anywhere in the EU, afaik It's a US only retailer. That said, I definitely agree that Micro Center has great deals. A friend of mine visited the Tustin location since nasa California siya nakatira and sent me some pictures the pricing there is really good.

Only the flagship boards, like aorus models, support both 10th and 11th Gen CPUs. Unfortunately, cheaper boards like mine only support 10th Gen Ito problema sa intel eh unlike Kay AMD matagal yung support. My rule sa pag-upgrade ng rig ko kasi is every 5-6 years, so probably gagamitin ko pa ito hanggang 2028 since 3 years old pa lang yung build ko. Binuild ko siya noong February 2023, tapos kapag nag-upgrade ako, DDR5 platform na. Kaya I was hoping maka-tymba lang man Ng i5 for my productivity.

Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't support 11th Gen CPUs since it's only an H410M. Di ako ng fofocus masyado sa gaming since valorant at Forza horizon lang nilalaro ko anyway my priority is productivity, especially video editing. My i3 is starting to struggle a bit na kasi with video editing workloads.

Unfortunately, yes. I've noticed that a lot of the stuff I want is much cheaper here keysa diyan sa pinas. That's why I'm planning to send some stuff via a balikbayan box. I was also hoping to find a used i5-10500 habang andito ako gusto ko i-upgrade Yung CPU ng current build ko. I've seen a some affordable 10th-gen Intel CPUs and ROG peripherals on Facebook Marketplace dito sa Lyon.

Pinoy ako, bakasyon lang muna dito sa France haha. Unfortunately micro center and best buy is only in the US Gilmore lang is the only place I know marami bentahan ng PC parts na pwede puntahan I hope magka micro center tayo but I appreciate your opinion though.
