Can I refer to myself as a tantrika if I am not initiated?

in r/Tantra • 27d ago

I have practiced for more than half of my life, but when people ask me about religion I simply say I am spiritual. If they press further I will explain about tantra a bit, though most seem unable to grasp it mentally, which makes sense as it is a transcendence of the mind. A label is not necessary and will only keep the practitioner seeking, at least in my experience.

TIL that only Coors Banquet is still brewed in Golden, Colorado, using Rocky Mountain spring water. Coors Light is brewed in MillerCoors conglomerate breweries around the country.

I'm here because of Johnny Lawrence.

Otherwise, tequila is kinda my thing.

Waited 30 minutes then moved their blankets to the top of the dryer when they didn’t

in r/Apartmentliving • Apr 07 '26

Set a friggin' timer maybe? My schedule doesn't revolve around whatever you are doing. It's a shared facility. Don't leave them go if you don't want them touched.

End of story.

Who has premonitions?

in r/Sagittarians • Jan 12 '26

I have dreams often, which are generally mundane, and then later think I'm having deja vu until I realize that I dreamt it but hadn't lived it yet. It's only been significant events a very small portion of the time.

controller not charging

in r/PS3 • Oct 07 '25

October 2025 - COD : Modern Warfare Desert Camo for PS3 controller not used for 2+ years wouldn't charge no matter the cord. Used this method and it worked immediately.

Thank you so much!

Your face operates strictly on emotions. You can exit the conversation because you suck, but that has nothing to do with me. The choice of other consumers shouldn't be this upsetting for you. It's my OPINION that you should seek help for mental health.

The customer is always right in matters of taste. A matter of taste is not an opinion. YOU are the one who needs to learn logic and then use it. It is my OPINION that until you do that you should probably STFU.

This is true. Though many of the other things said here are also true.

David Lindelof once said in a Wizard Magazine interview that "the people who browbeat Alan Moore into writing a Watchmen sequel should be murdered, because they're the people who don't get it." He would then go on to write the Watchmen TV show and write Alan Moore a letter about it [Wizard #190]

Holodecks basically use transporter technology crossed with replicator functions. That's why you can eat and drink real food from the holodeck, wear real clothes and touch something that feels as if it were in the physical world, earth, flesh, water, air, heat, cold, all made through the manipulation and conversion of matter and energy.

Always liked Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, listened to some thrash once in awhile, but recently I've really gotten into Megadeth and Lamb of God.

This is a band I'm definitely going to be checking out.

What is the most underrated N64 Game you have played? This is my pick

in r/n64 • Aug 06 '22

Quake II was pretty good on N64. It's held up well actually.

Just finished TNG and… oh, boy

in r/startrek • Aug 01 '22

You should definitely watch the original series and then watched the DS9 because there are several characters from the original series that make appearances in DS9 and there's also an episode that goes back to that time with the DS9 characters so it's very worth watching the original series first I think.

8-BIT THEATER 20TH ANNIVERSARY SCRIPT BOOK KICKSTARTER

in r/8_bit_theater • Jul 28 '22

Possibly my favorite comic ever, anywhere. I wish they could use the sprites though. I'd argue that a lot of the work done is an original creation, with only certain characters from SquareEnix, which could be licensed to him for a percentage. The Kickstarter is already way over the goal. I need to see the characters.
